Disney Channel Games 2008???

I'm starting to get a little nervous. This is our first trip ever to WDW and we tried to wrap it around the games/concert. However, we are coming in from AZ and not arriving until after WDW ticket window closes on Tuesday night. The plan was to go to DHS for the elusive fan day on Wed. then go pick up the tix on a break (lunch time) on the 30th. I'm worried now that the most exciting stuff is going to happen on the 30th and I'll need my tickets to do it :-( I'm really excited to explore the parks and stuff but now wondering if it's worth the additional $$$ to fly in Monday instead of Tuesday so we can pick up our tickets earlier and that way not chance missing anything on the 30th. Thoughts my friendly Floridians?? Those in the know?? And - of course - THANK YOU ALL AGAIN!

I contacted Chelsea Staub through her MySpace page, and she said she will be attending. Selena Gomez has posted both in her blog and in bulletins on MySpace that she'll be at the games, and also noted that Demi Lovato will be both participating in the games and performing at the concert. A Demi fansite also confirmed this. Of course, the Jonas Brothers and Cheetah Girls are confirmed for both the games and concert. Jordan Pruitt is confirmed for the concert. We have the Miley rumor from MileyTV. I know Mitchel Musso won't be there.

Given that most of the Camp Rock cast will be there, I'm GUESSING Meaghan Martin and Jasmine Richards will attend. I don't know which members are considered principal cast though. All of them may not show up...

Also, since Selena is confirmed, I would guess that David Henrie and Jake T. Austin (also possibly Jennifer Stone) will be there. (Wizards of Waverly Place cast)

If the Miley rumor is true, we can probably count on Emily Osment and Jason Earles, maybe even Moises Arias.

As far as I know, the "As The Bell Rings" cast won't be there (with the exception of Demi).

I know someone mentioned a casting director had confirmed Cole & Dylan Sprouse. If so, Brenda Song might be there as well?

Haven't heard anything about any of the Cory In the House cast. Can't imagine they wouldn't be involved...

And then, of course, HSM3 has started filming. So I tend to think they might not be involved this year?

All total speculation... and things everyone else has probably speculated on their own, at that. Hope it helps, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Still sticking with these guesses... with a couple of exceptions!! If Luke Benward is hosting, I'm thinking maybe the rest of the Minutemen cast will participate. That would be Nicholas Braun, Steve McQueen, and possibly Kara Crane. Not that it makes any difference, but Chelsea Staub may be participating because of Minutemen (not J.O.N.A.S., since it has not yet aired. And JoBros may be in for "Camp Rock.")

Other than that, no word on Jasmine Richards (Camp Rock) yet. Most of the main cast besides her has announced they'll be participating, but I'm unable to find an official website or MySpace page for Jasmine. Will let you all know if I find anything else!

I see your problem. I have the same. I am getting in late Tuesday night. My thoughts is if we have no info by then, to hear from others who picked their info up and posted it here! I will pick up my tix @ 8am then proceed to fanfest. If my tix are not needed for fanfest I will pick them up after fanfest. I do not think I would change my world around. That would be costly. However, it is your decision. You can wait a little bit for info or change and enjoy the extra day. Whats the worst that happens, one more fun day at disney? Well there is my two cents. An answer like a politician. lol!!!

Just a feeling. I feel something will be out by Wednesday reguarding all info. Participants Fanday etc. This may be wishful thinking but I think it is coming. Remember though the reps told us that info may not be out until after the games start or just before they start. What is there 12 days left? OMJ.

Your thoughts are very similar to the ones I was having. I think I'm going to ride it out... I might send a PM to DCGames2008 just to outline what our status is. These are hot tickets and I don't want them to go the wait list! I guess I'll just continue to rely on you guys for up to the minute information. Let's not forget to plan a DIS meet & greet sometime between Wed - Fri!! I'm dying to put the names to the faces for so many of you that I've been chatting with. You all have been invaluable for our planning. And now that I know it's here, I'm already thinking about going next year LOL!!!

The site's a mess! Maybe that has to do with the fact that it says it's best viewed in Firefox, and... I'm not using Firefox. Anyway, I usually have to refresh it once before it will load. Just search through the posts. There are two (one called "Disney Channel Games! Win!" and another called "More on the Disney Channel Games!")

Disreguard this wiki info. It is old info that was made up. They just went down the list of shows and did a fantasy draft. This was out before they even said anything of a games this year. If you notice no camp rock people or as the bell rings. I dont recall but I dont remember if wizards cast is on there. I would not take it seriously. Keep up the research though. You would be suprised at what you find.

My 13 year old son is such an Ashley fan, that I would love it if he gets a chance to see her. I keep checking and have sent emails through her webiste, but no response yet. I also emailed Rosemarie to try and get a little more info, but nothing back yet. She's usually great about responding though. Every little bit of info we can all get will help. Kind of like putting pieces of a puzzle together. :0)

I usually just email the dcgames2008 address. You'll get an auto reply initially, but she usually sends her own email response later. Hope that helps! Not sure if anyone here has a different email for her.

Oh my! Not that lucky! I sent my question regarding the tapings on 4/1 to

wdprbroadcasttapings@disney.com

and I got the reply that was not much more than what was already known about how the tapings were not spectator friendly. The reply was sent on 4/4.
