Disney changes beverage policy

Thirsty children will soon get a break at Walt Disney World. The theme park has announced a new policy for its table-service restaurants.

Disney announced this morning that its table-service restaurants will start providing free refills on children's drinks, including juices, milk, bottled water and soda, starting May 31.

The free-refill policy will not apply to specialty drinks.

That's great! I wish they did this in restaurants besides the ones at WDW.

Oh that is great!!!!!! We go thru at least a gallon of milk between the 3 kids a DAY yes I need a cow in my back yard... we spend no less than 35$ a week on milk (its never on sale around me!! I was amazed when a friend in tx told me she could get it on sale!!)

I always thought with sodas refills were free because they are for adults. I am also surprised that there were never refills on milk and juice for kids. When my family and I stay at the Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key, the restaurant in the hotel where we have breakfast give free refills on milk and juice for both adults and kids.

wow.. yeah.. i had no idea.

refills on soft drinks were always free for adults. in fact, after i'm dehydrated, i typically ask the server to bring me 2 just so i don't bother them at much (this time around, one even brought me 3)

i know we were all getting free refills at the buffets with the orange juice.

I can not tell you how happy I am about this!!

My kiddos don't drink soda or juice and it drove me crazy that they were only "allowed" one glass of milk at dinner, while if they had picked sugary sweet soda they could get as much as they wanted.

YEAH!!! Milk for everyone!
