Disney Cars at MGM??

I thought I saw a thread about the Cars at MGM. Is that true?? What was there, characters? Cars?? My son loves them and the movie isn't out till June. Hoping to see something there but doubted it.

Cars: Go Cruisin is now at Disney MGM at 1030 & 1130 am and 1230, 145, and 240 pm. Apparently Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater drive around and then stop under the Scorcerers Hat for photo ops. Someone had a post with pictures on one of the threads.

Forgot to ask this before, does anyone know how long Car's will be at MGM??

I hope they are still there in Dec., when we go as I would love to see them myself! I can't wait for the movie, it looks cute!

I don't know how long they will be at MGM, but I was the original poster with the pictures....

The experience was amazing, as the cars drove up in front of the hat and parked, and then people were allowed to wander around, checking out the cars, taking pictures...the sounds and the detail was AMAZING!!! If I wasn't already going to be seeing the movie, this would have swayed my opinion.

Hope they continue to have this for a while, its a fun thing to be a part of...if you have any questions, let me know, I'll try to help...

They are rather cute. They drive up the main street (slowly) and do the brrrmm, brrrmmm sound. They have "attendants" that escort them down the street. It's main car and the silly car that are there. We saw them a few times the other day.

They should be there for quite a while. Usually the characters are there for the theatrical run of the movie and subsequent DVD release. But even after, Disney will continue to use it's characters around for meet-n-greets and because of the Cars characters role in the Cars & Stars motorcade parade, I believe the Car characters will be here for some time to come.
