Disney cancelled wishes FP4 tomorrow?!?

just got an email my FP for Wisheswas cancelled due to "unexpected change in schedule "

No wishes at all on May 1?

I just checked both the DisneyWorld.com site and the Travel Agent's Calendar.
Wishes still looks to be scheduled at 10:00 tomorrow night.

Same thing just happened to me too. They replaced it with a fastpass for a ride from a select list, most that don't really need a fp.

We are going down for the weekend to run in Expedition Everest Challenge, so we don't have a lot of flexibility in our schedule.

Maybe they just need the area? Private party?

"Hey guys, you need to start locking in at 180 days out, jump on the must have FPs at 60 days out because this new system is awesome like that. There have been some reports of the FP area being terribly overcrowded, packed in like sardines. Maybe they decided to cut down on the number of people? Of course, that should be something going forward, not taken away from people who already have it...

That would certainly irk me with so little notice. I know they have the right to make last minute changes, but I'd sure be unhappy about it and asking for another night's Fp+ if my schedule allowed- or at least a bonus fp+.

Fastpass Plus works great as long as you are willing to preplan rides months ahead AND are really flexible once you get there

I hope to the OP that it all worked out!

Honestly, last trip we booked some FP's then changed so much that honestly, we won't book ahead of time except for one day (we have BOG lunch). Otherwise, it's just too much planning! Plus DD will be in a wheelchair so we need to take it slow and just see where we want to go (and will have the disability card). Been enough times that doing a few things a day is enough for us!

Some of the things they have FP for now kind of cracks me up. We enjoy strolling around (me pushing her) and people watching (and snacking) and the shows a lot.

I was just coming on here to post about this. The only difference is my Wishes FP was for May 22 (24 hr party) they replaced it with a Meet Mickey FP for like 2pm. It says it's no longer available due to an unexpected change in the operating schedule.

I checked with my son's AP if maybe it was a time change and there were new FP for the new time but no, no wishes FP for the 24hr party. So I guess we will just be watching from New Fantasyland cause the front of the park during fireworks during the 24hr days are a mad house. We got stuck for 1.5 hours one year.

Do you think they are just getting rid of fastpass for wishes? Ours were cancelled for the 22nd also. I was really looking forward to not having to wait forever.

My FP for wishes 5/22 was just canceled as well. Really really ticked as our plan was to get there early and take a long break during the 24 hr event. Ugh.

Maybe they will sell your 24 hour event fastpasses back to you as some sort of "special event".
