as with many service industries, it is with whom you speak that dictates how accurate and how much information you receive. we were originally scheduled for the 4th maiden voyage of the magic in 1998 before it got postponed twice. when the ship was postponed the first time, dh was blessed to work with one of the BEST reservationists at dcl. since she was so helpful and knowledgeable, when the ship was postponed the second time, he asked for her to handle the rescheduling.
since then, we've been on an additional 5 cruises and each time have called in and asked to be switched to her to handle us. twice, we've subsequently transferred our reservation to AAA to take advantage of their additional benefits, but our dcl reservationist continued to be available to us to answer questions and handle requests, probably outside of dcl policy. but we've established a rapport with this one reservationist and have come to trust her. dcl hears from us following each cruise, and she is at the top of our list of CMs who helped make our cruise magical.
