Just returned from Wal-Mart and saw the cute Kodak Princesses Camera. Does anyone know if they have a boy version? My DS at 6 would not appreciate the pink camera!!!

Are they disposable or can you use 35mm film?
Also, if anyone can find a link to purchase one online, please let me know...
Thanks.
The ones that I have seen.....Wal-Mart has a 35mm Princess one for around $12. Target has the Princess disposable one for $6. Haven't seen any Disney boy ones at either place. I have boy/girl twins so I need one for each. I'm hoping they come out with one soon. I could get him the Spongebob disposable, but for the price I'd rather get the 35 mm one, so it would last longer, but haven't seen any.
We bought the "disposable" Princess camera at Target, and discovered that there is a phone number on the back to order additional film cartridges for it. Now that I've found the regular camera at Walmart, I'm glad that I didn't order more film for the disposable one yet.
Have you guys ever considered a digital camera for your kids? I don't know of any that are Disney themed but you could put some stickers on them. They have really come down in price lately and if you consider the cost of buying and developing film you could pay for one quickly and your kids could take as many pictures as they like. I would always get frustrated when we would get our kids disposable cameras and get them develpoed only to find they had taken a few pictures of their bed, several inside the car, etc. Just a thought.
I just noticed that you were from Houma. We live in Nebraska but my grandparents are from Des Allemands so I have been to Houma several times to eat and also just passing through on the way to Grand Isle.
and got the camera. It's so cute. Came with a photo album and stickers, roll of film and batteries.
I decided to put it back till Christmas. I also debated on getting a cheap digital ($30) instead. The disney camera makes it more fun. Also, I found it would be a lot easier.
I always purchase my pictures from Ofoto. Their quality beats Wal-mart and other companies. I've tried about 5 with the same photo. The disney camera will allow me to drop the film off and get prints in a hour. With the cheap digital, I'd have to download them to my computer and order (take a few days). The el-cheapo digital's store the pictures on the camera, not a card. I'd rather let my DD take her film to walmart and have them quicker.
I think the disney princess camera is really cute for girls and I know mine would get more thrill out of that than a digital. Now when she gets older, that will be different story. Now family and friends can pick up some cheap film and dollar trees for gifts. Thanks for this thread...I'm excited to have gotten my xmas shopping started early...NEVER to early to start...(it will be here quick)
