Do they now make or have ever made one of these? If so, anyone know where I can get one?

Thanks!

Yes, they do make that pin. It was part of the 100 years of Mickey pins from California. I have it with my patriotic pins.
The pin you are showing is pin # 13258 on Pin Pics. It is one of the harder to get but if you go to that site you can see if someone is trading it and make them a trade offer.

LOL Peggie!!! Dave is looking for a butter dish.....not the pin. :smooth:

To answer your question Dave.....you might try calling the Gourmet Pantry at Downtown Disney. They have all kinds of nifty Disney kitchen stuff there. Also the World of Disney had quite a bit. Another place that had a lot of kitchen items in October when I was there, was Bay View Gifts at the Contermporary Resort.

I don't remember seeing a butter dish but there may have been one. I know there are LOTS of Salt & Pepper shakers all over property.

Thanks for the replies.

Peggie I tried that as a pin...ruined 2 shirys, the butter keeps leaving a stain when it falls out:)

I'll have to check the Gourmet Pantry at Downtown Disney.

I made my own. :)
For Christmas, our department was treated to an outing to a local ceramic shop. Customers pick out their fired ceramic piece, paint it, and leave it to be fired again.
I wasn't sure what to make, so I made a butter dish and put the three circle icon (in raised paint) on the lid top and corners.
Had I known beforehand what I was going to do, I would have planned it a little better.
But for free -- what the heck. ;)

Ok I deserve that. I had just gotten home from work after being home for 11 days for spring break. The brain was not yet in rest gear, I was still thinking work. Then I go onto the pin boards and can only put the brain in pin gear. So, of course I can only think of pins, not butter dishes.
Now that I have been feed and changed into my WDW Fantasia Mickey pj's I can see my mistake.

Butter dishes! I think they have a butter dish at Chef's Pantry with the blue and white Mickey pattern on it. Other than that I don't ever remember seeing any butter dishes.
Good luck. But I recommend you get a plain butter dish from Walmart and spend your money on pins. Peggie

When I was down there last spring, the Cast Connection was selling a series that included a butter dish. It was clear glass with Mickey head icons etched into it. I have seen them recently on e*** and do not appear too expensive.

Also some years ago Royal Orleans made an adorable tea set based on Mickey and the Beanstalk. It came with a butter dish that I am currently on the watch for.

Good Luck

Kathy
