Disney Busses ?

Hello,

I'm new here and I have a question. I'm staying off property and if I drive my car to Downtown Disney and take a Disney buss to one of the resorts . And have one of the resort busses take me to any of the 4 them parks . so we don't have to pay for parking. Is this possible

It is possible and done quite frequently (especially by yours truly). Make sure you leave plenty of time though for travel from DTD to the park of your choice (at least an hour). Buses start running regularly at the Marketplace stop around 8:00am and the other two stops at 11:00am.

I don't believe that the busses from DTD go directly to the parks - too many people were trying to circumvent paying for parking!

You should post your question on the transportation board - they are very knowledgable with all transportation issues.

Don't try to skimp. Just pay for parking at the theme parks. In the grand scheme of how much vacations cost you aren't adding that much more paying to park. However, think about all the time you'll be wasting (a lot) traveling this way. And time is money.

The parking lots at DTD are for DTD visitors,many times the lots fill up and it's almost impossible to find parking so yes doing this is very rude to other guests.Several years ago Disney stopped having buses between Disney theme parks and DTD for this very reason.Doing this now you can expect to spend an extra 60-90 minutes to get to and from the parks so you should reconsider doing this and just spend the $14 to park at the parks.

As others have posted yes its possible but will take away valuable park time and make for a VERY long day if you stay for fireworks.

Also since this is your first post and you are new around here, here is a warning. I would just leave this post and not come back because you should expect a lot of flames.

Technically you can do it, but you will waste at least 3 hours a day doing so. It just isn't worth it. If you figure out how much your Disney vacation is costing you per hour, you will actually be losing more money than you would save by parking at DTD.

It is a rather foolish way to try and save a few bucks. Don't do it.
