I was wondering if Disney buses allow ECVs? If so, Do the ECV go under the buses or on the buses? There will be three of us with scooters, so I am trying to plan how we will get to the MK and AK parks. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Yes, Disney buses can hold 2 ECVs per bus. The bus driver deploys a ramp from the middle of the bus and the guest drives the ECV right onto the bus. Then the bus driver fastens the ECV down with safety straps. Easy peasy

Are you all staying together in the same room or resort? As mentioned, usually 2 ECVs go per Disney bus so that means that someone will need to go solo on the next bus. I often split up with my family members (who have no mobility issues) and I was fine with it. I usually arrived 10-15 mins behind them and it wasn't hard to catch up. If anyone in your group has something they want to do first thing in the park that isn't a ride (like go to Starbucks or buy something at the shop) they can go in the first bus and get coffee for everyone, etc. That's what we did.

decide who will ride solo as only 2 ECVs per bus before you get in line. there could be an ECV already in line so the single rider would go first bus if not the 2 go first and meet at the park. plan on same as you leave park at end of your day. as others have said you roll up ramp and park, with help if needed, on the bus. buses can take up 2 ECVs. make sure as you leave bus you go straight down the ramp until clear of ramp before you turn the wheels of ECV. if your resort has more than one bus stop make sure you are at first stop. enjoy your trip

The AKL buses don't run this fast. They're at much longer waits, like 30 minutes. Splitting up your party is a real pain at AKL. I just had to do it January. Ugh. It's one of my main problems with AKL. You'll need to be able to find the bus schedule in MDE, and it isn't always working on MDE. You'll probably need to get someone to go ahead.
Add in another party with a couple scooters and this could be a very frustrating experience.
You need to know the backup plans, which relies on knowing the hours of the parks and how the resorts connect. Example. MK bus is totally full. Take the bus to AK park, then take the bus to Contemporary, roll to MK. Epcot is opening in 30 minutes, and there are already three scooters lined up. Take the bus to MK, roll to Contemporary, take bus/monorail to Epcot. Or take the bus to AK, take another bus to Epcot. Maybe worth mentioning here that there is no AK park -> Disney Springs bus anymore. This messed me up on one of my attempts to reroute. The Skyliner is fantastic with scooters, so the bus to Riviera is a good option to get to HS/Epcot. I went AKL > AK > Riviera once. Pop/Art of Animation would also work.
Obviously this is tough if you are tight on time. Leaving at close should be fine, but rope drop might be tough.
