An interesting Idea came up on another thread so I thought I would start a new, tell the story of your bus trip thread.
Please share your favorite Disney bus story's.
I had one that was a little different, my group were staying at the all star sports one year and having a great time, we had went to epcot and stayed for the late fireworks show, not the one currently running which is good, it was prior to to that one and was great, we all loved it, had a lot more laser lights and music, had a horse running across the spinning globe, I can't remember what it was called but would love to see it come back, (rambling on) anyway, we all made it out to the bus for the ride back, at closing there are loads of people, all wanting to just get on a bus and go back to the resort and get in bed. We all managed to load up on the same bus driven by AL, he was a great guy, greeted everyone as though he knew everybody, talked all the time, telling story's and giving information on Disney and some further plans.
You have to remember this is about 10:00 pm at night, the bus if completely full, Al is a talking away, keeping everyone interested in what he had to say next. The bus, hard to believe, but was really quiet for a loaded bus leaving a park headed back to All Star sports with only Al talking.
As we traveled along Al starts singing, the wheels of the bus go round and round, Have you ever heard it sung by 30 tired people late at night? that's something you never forget.
As we continued on, which seemed like a lengthy ride, But we were all tired and always seems that way then, the bus finally made it back to the resort, Al pulled up to the stop, turned on the lights, opened the door and said, exit carefully, the bus is now going the same speed as the sidewalk, which was a perfect saying after the long ride we just had, The only problem was we were at the Wilderness Lodge. Surprising, no one said a word, we just kind of looked at one another.
Al very calmly stood up and said you are all welcome, everyone on board has just been upgraded, It was a pretty cool bus trip, One I will never forget.
He did get us all back to All stars by the way.

In May 1998 my family and I were on the Contemporary bus leaving Downtown Disney Marketplace and I remember our bus driver got on his micraphone and said to driver of another Disney Transport bus "Pardon me sir do you have any Grey Poupon?" Well all I can remember is everyone else on the bus just started laughing and it's something we didn't see happening.

Our favorite bus story was when our trip was not long after 9/11, late Nov/early Dec. The parks were practically desserted. Could ride Splash Mtn around & around w/o having to get off. That's how empty.

At home, we had an old album (yes album) of Christmas songs sung by Mickey, Goofy etc that I had recorded onto a cassette but couldn't find on cd. We loved those songs!

While riding the bus back at closing time at MK, the driver played that same Christmas music. There was probably only a few other families on the bus but we were all singing & clapping our hands to "Here Comes Santa Claus". :jumping1:

On another bus ride, we asked if they could play some Christmas music & we were told that they can't play music due to need to stay in touch with dispatch/radio. What a quiet, boring ride that was. :guilty:

I have more than I can count....here are two...
About 3 years ago, my friend and I headed to WDW for a night before our DCL cruise. We had a studio at OKW. We had enjoyed our CP dinner and performance, and hopped on the bus at Epcot to OKW. It was about 10:00 or so. Well....seems we had some groups on the bus that had 'over-imbibed' at Epcot. They were hysterical. They started singing every Christmas carol and song they could think of. Even the driver started singing. There were only about 25/30 of us on the bus. And the thing is that once you get to OKW, it's a maze in there...so we took forever to get to our stop...last one of course. The further along we got, the noiser it got. The singing just got louder and more raucous. Too funny.

And then, about 5 years ago, we were leaving Epcot (again it's Epcot) and heading back to our resort. My dd has very red hair and many comment on it. Well, the bus driver was no different. He made a comment about having a fiery redhead on the bus..look out for trouble. He kept those comments up all the way to our resort. He actually shouted, as he shut the bus doors...'We've gots the redhead, we've gots the redhead!!' It was hysterical...my dd was mortified to begin with but soon joined the fun. She was giving back as good as she was getting. I think she'll remember that for a very long time.
