We stayed at Port Orleans/French Q a week ago and during the bus trips to the parks, the Disney buses played background music that sounded like some type of bayou music with slow banjo playing (or something to that effect) How can I go about finding out what music this was from? There was no vocals, only music.

I sort of hope it was Dueling Banjos. If it was I think I'll go stay there because that's just funny.

I wondered if the buses had themed music to the resort they are affilitated with. Last year we stayed at the All Star Sports and the background music was patriotic music.

Our last trip was in January and we stayed at WL. The buses seem to have a sensor that sees where the bus is going or passing and plays the approiate music whereever its at, really cool. Getting back to WL, as we near the music switching to the flute that is so soothing, really like how they did this, makes traveling a real comfort but don't know where you can get the tunes.

We don't know exactly what they play on thebus but that type of music is called Cajun Zydeco. My SIL actually bought a CD of Zydeco music to play when we get POR nostalgic!

Yes, the bus music is automatically themed to where you are coming from, then to where you are going. My son is a CM and pointed this out on our last trip. I probably wouldn't have noticed if he hadn't pointed it out. When we got closer to the MK, "Main Street" music started playing. I thought it was pretty cool.

I can't stand some of the music they chose. The "pop" music selections on the DTD buses annoy me to the point that I must look like the demented Mickey from Runaway Brain by the time I get off the bus. I'd rather they stuck with Disney music or instrumentals only.

Try listening to it for 8 hours a day! :headache: :sad1: :scared:

I know EXACTLY what ya mean!
We frequently stay there, and I was just now trying to figure out if I could find that music, its WAY soothing.
