, wow it was packed for off season
I usually go to WDW about the same times every year (mid-late Sept or first week of Oct, first or second week of Dec, and first or second week of May. I have never seen the parks as crowded as they were this past week. It may have been because of Columbus Day weekend or that alot of schools had fall break, but my husband swears he will never go back anywhere near a holiday again. We were shocked at the crowds. MK and Epcot especially were packed.
Something else we noticed was the large number of Brazillian tour groups there this past week. These weren't your usual teenage groups that are there every January and July, but family groups. I've never seen groups like them down there before. They were groups of like 20-30 people and each had a leader that carried the little flags, but they were family groups, not teens. They were nice and we didn't have a problem with them, but were just surprised to see them every where.
