does this sound ok? Am i being too stingy? is $500 enough for food? We'll be there april 1-10 with april 1 and 10 in hotels travelling

Will you be eating in the parks or will you have a kitchen area in your hotel?

Even if you eat offsite, $500 is a little over $50/food/day.

If there are 4 of you (which I am assuming bc of your SN), that's like $3.50/pp/per meal.

Unless you have a kitchen and can prepare meals, I don't think that is realistic!

There's 5 of us but 1 is an infant. There's me and my 3 older kids who are 4,4, and 6.5. The twins share meals and my 6 yr old and I will each eat a meal. We are staying at the comfort inn across from disney. I also forgot to add parking. oops lol. We will eat 1 meal in the park and the rest outside, like breakfast at sizzler and dinner elsewhere from the parks.

You need to double your food budget just to be safe..There is nothing like worrying about food money.

My family of 4 went when kids were 3 and 6. I planned for us to eat breafasts in the room lunches in the parks (counter service) and then dinner either fast food or offsite (like golden corral or mcdonalds) and we PUSHED it seriously at 75 a day.

Thank you. I figured fast food works. Sizzler for dinner was abou $12 or so? I can't remember exactly. McD's and stuff is usually about $14 for all of us and golden corrall the same. Is gas for $240 round trip sufficient enough? I am bringing extra cash but trying to keep a budget
