Disney bricks

Are they still selling the disney engraved bricks. If so how do I get one and how much money? Are the bricks in the resort areas as well as the parks?

I don't think they are anymore Tara.

I tried getting one myself, but was told the only place to leave an engraving is at Epcot (the leave a legacy tile).

No they aren't selling any bricks in WDW. Shades of Green does have a brick program.

I had no idea that SOG had a program like that safetymom. My uncle is retired military and stays at SOG once a year.. I'll have to get him to buy a brick.. very cool!!!!

Thank you for the info. I am so sad. I thought my kids would really enjoy the bricks as they both spell and read their own names. I'll have to check out the leave a legacy wall but I like the bricks a lot more.

I know I am super bummed about this too. I wanted to get one but at the time I knew I would be having my own child and wanted him to be included with dh and stepson so I waited. Then when we went down after my son was born, they weren't doing them anymore

They stopped doing the bricks in July 2000. They do them now out at Disneyland.

I always wanted to get my name on a brick, but never knew how. Now I will never get the chance. Very sad.

I do however, have a Leave a Legacy picture. We were there at the beginning of the program and so our pic is on the first walls right as you walk in. Totally cool! By the time we have kids and get to show them we will look sooo young. But it'll be a great memory to share.
