I'M going to Disney with the family and we are going to CRT and I planning on celebrating a birthday (for an adult) any tips??? I want to make this special!!

Subscribing- - we are arriving at WDW on DH's b-day. I've ordered him a Mickey cake for dinner that night but that's all I've planned so far. I thought I saw somewhere to be sure to tell the CMs that it is a birthday and they give you a pin or something but I can't find the thread

Oh this is an easy one! Just go to each welcome centre thingee in each park (is town hall in MK) and simply ASK. Button is HUGE and says Today is My Birthday and has all the characters on it. I love mine and wear it every year even if I am not gonna leave the house! They also hand out ones that say Congrats .. you know for weddings/anniversary. Heck they don't care who it is for or ask for birth certificate. No sweat :thumbsup2

I celebrated my 40th at CRT last December. It was very special. Be sure you tell them when you check in at the podium. They decorated my table and gave me a Magical Moments certificate that was signed by all the princesses. They also brought a cupcake with a candle and my server sang Happy Birthday to me.

My boyfriend and I went to WDW last May for my 46th birthday. I got the b'day button from each park - DTD also has a button. I wore one for the week we were there. We got a special table for lunch at the castle - and they decorated the table. We got a wonderful free desert in Canada, a cupcake at 'Ohana, a birthday phone call from Goofy in Canada, balloons and a birthday card at our hotel and I am sure some other things I do not remember.

I purchased the Passport in Epcot and since I had on my birthday button, most of the messages put in my book from the different countries were birthday wishes in their native language. I also made my Passport into a mini-scrapbook. I did not use all the stickers to put in the passport and I took a picure in each country (in front of the troll in Norway, coming out of the red phone booth in United Kingdom, with a flag in US, etc.) and cropped that picture and put it in the book. This way I have a small scrapbook from our vacation.

We were there in June for DH's birthday. I was able to get him a button that he wore all day long. A lot of cm's and characters made a point of wishing him a happy birthday, even from the parade. I let them know at check in and the evening before, they delivered balloons and a card signed from Mickey (no charge). I also ordered a cake from our front desk (around $12) and it was set up in the room with a table cloth and china dishes. We had dinner ressie's at CRT and they had glitter on the table, but that was about it. I did see them make a big deal over children with birthday's. All in all he had a really fun day!!

im going to be there from sept 10-20 can i celabrate my birthday if it is on sept 2nd?

We tried to do this for our FIL, but he wasn't into the idea of wearing a pin all day. He did wear it at dinner at Marakesh. The dancer came over to our table, and I think the staff sang a birthday song. It was nice, but nothing terribly exotic.

You can have a package delivered from the WDW florist. They have a webpage. They have several birthday and snack packs, but they didn't wow me, esp. for the price. Most of the treats in the baskets are just ordinary candy that you could get anywhere. I wish they were made up with Mickey cookies and candies or something. I will say that we've seen the florist delivering flowers a few times, and the floral vases were amazing!

There used to be a clittle company that did this sort of thing, it was called pixie dust wishes or somethign liekt hat, but I think maybe they no longer exist.

Heck yeah! Why not? When you go to get the buttons they are not gonna ask to see you ID.
So go for it, live it up after all it is YOUR day right? :bday: I am going in December and my B-day is end of November. Told Lady when I book food and she laughed and told me HAPPY BIRTHDAY.
