Hi - my name is Penny and I am an off/on again poster and a lurker. Seriously, life has been busy with personal things. The reason for the post is I have volunteered to help out in the Kid's pin trading room at the Allentown Dis Meet in July. I am taking my Mom (who is now pretty well confined to the wheelchair) and my two nephews on a mini vacation and thought the volunteer experience would be something my Mom could do as well as teach the boys to "pay it forward".

What does that have to do with creative Disigns? I was talking to my friend as I was trying to come up with some fun games to keep the kids happy while their parents were off attending seminars. Well, she came up with an idea that I am sure has already been thought of, so I am coming to the experts for advice. I started here because I was hoping someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction.

I am looking for bingo cards (we are going to call it DINGO for Disney Bingo), that have the different Disney characters in the spots instead of numbers. I have lots of Disney characters thanks to everyone here, but I don't know how to randomly generate them on Bingo cards. I saw one make your own Bingo card site, but you have to use their pictures.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I could do this or where you could send me to get advice?

Hope everyone is well. I was surprised when i checked in today that you guys are almost up to 2,500 pages. WOW :dance3:
that's amazing. I tried to catch up when you were up to about 800 pages and finally gave up. I am really far behind now.

I am also going to post on the pin trading board for some other game ideas for the kids. thanks so much, Penny :wave2:

Hi, Penny! Great to "see" you again! I don't have an answer to your question (at least yet). A friend of mine made Halloween Bingo cards for ds's class. I'll see how she did it. It may have been the site that requires you to use their pictures. If I get any helpful info, I'll let you know.

Good luck and have a fun trip!

Beth

Thanks so much Beth. :yay:
Here's hoping there is a way to do it without trying to randomize the pictures myself. I am sure that would be frustrating. :rotfl2:

I'm sorry to report that she used a site that had the pictures on it. I have searched a bit and only found customizable BINGO boards with text, not pictures. I'll keep looking.

Hi Beth - Thanks for looking. I figured out how to do it. I found a custom Bingo card in one of my teacher sites. I changed the name to DINGO
for Disney Bingo. I am printing out 40 blank cards. I am buying sticker labels (I got the template from Word). I found 75 Disney pictures (i actually have more but want to limit it to 75, just like bingo). I have the following categories- 15 each
D - Disney Princesses
I - Interesting CHaracters
N - Names we know & Love (mostly movie characters)
G - Great One & Friends or the Gang Fab Four - Mickey & friends
O - Oh-Oh, here comes trouble - villians

I will print them on stickers and put 5 random pictures (from a group of 15) on each card. I will then laminate the cards. I have magnetic bingo markers from years ago when I used to take my mom to Bingo. I will then put all of the pictures on a 3x5 card and put them in a box and pick them out one at a time. I will tack the pictures that were picked on a large empty box.

Anyway, that's the route I am taking and hope it works. I have all the pictures, I just need to find the stickers, make the bingo cards and the 3x5 cards and I amready to go. Thanks for looking, Penny
