I got a few weeks ago the stockholders annual report info in the mail. Got all excited because I knew Toy Story was on the front cover. Opened it up and uh it was not in there. I thought it was a mistake on their end, emailed them and explained what was missing. Well they did reply saying that they are cutting back on the printing for cost purposes blah blah but he will mail me one just this one time. Well last week I got another envelope opened it up and yep they give me the white financial report and not the other book. Well I emailed them again and this time no answer. Anyone have a phone number where I can call these people and try to get this straightened out? Doesn't this sound being cheap? We look forward to this every year. Thanks everyone.

All of our reports are now sent out as electronic documents. If a shareholder would like it to be on paper they are free to click the print button. We save a substantial amount of money and we have about 20,000 shareholders, not the tens of thousands or millions Disney has.

I really don't think Disney, or any other company, should waste a lot of money making overly elaborate annual reports. I am interested in the financial information that is inside, not in having a collectors item.

I would think a shareholder would be the first person that applauded the fiscal responsibility in not over producing a financial document.

They stopped automatically sending those books several years ago.
You can wite/call and request one and they will gladly send it.

But I applaud Disney for not wasting so much money and resources on something the majority of their shareholders will not take the time to read.

I am also saddened by the lack of the traditional paper annual report. Personally, I'd rather have a paper copy of the annual report and a .pdf cody of the financial statements. I am all for saving the planet, money and recources, but we should have the option - even if it has to be requested.

I am also sad that Disney does not offer its shareholders any benefits. We used to get Magic Kingdom Club memberships. We used to get resort discounts. Carnival Cruise and Royal Caribbean Shareholders get an on board credit - not so on Disney. Euro Disney SCA shareolders get discounts and even a special salon at the park entrance for their use!

I will be going to the shareholders meeting in March and I can only imagine how cheap that presentation will be.

I agree totally with FireDancer. "The baby has a fever!!" This is serious and we should each do our part to save one drop of iceberg water. Come on people.. the baby has a FEVER. Now, if you will excuse me, I have to go shovel the 4 feet of snow Tampa got today.
