Disney Bear

I visited WDW in December 2003. At that time, many stores were selling a teddy bear called Disney Bear. It was a bear in various colors, and it had various Mickey silhouettes on it. Is this still sold? I briefly visited WDW last week, and I didn't see it being sold anywhere, but I didn't look everywhere.

DD got her disney bear at our resort gift shop. At POFQ they had the light brown bear with the white mickey head face. I dont remember seeing them in the parks but I wasnt really looking as she already had hers by then.

Yes, they are still sold. I specifically remember seeing them in all of the colors (brown, pink, blue, purple) at the toy store at DTD. They also had a jumbo-sized brown one. I have the purple one - bought it a couple of trips back - it's so cute, I love it! (which is saying a lot for me 'cause I'm not a "warm and fuzzy" person in general...lol)

Once Upon a Toy, at DTD, is your best bet. They have the biggest selection. It's surprising how difficult they are to find in the parks. MK just had the brown one when we went in August and in January, they didn't even have that one.

Sounds like I should have visited Once Upon A Toy. I'll make a beeline for there when I go in October.

I was going to get the purple( that's my fav. color) Disney Bear, when I was there this last September 2005, but I forgot all about it. I guess he will just have to go back on my Disney World Wish list!

There used to be a lot of different colors like gray, blue, lilac, pink, black white and several shades of brown. Not sure what colors they come in now.

I have a couple of 15" ones light brown, dark brown & white...they were $25.

Others that I have are:

--6" on a key ring $3.50 Found one at WOD last year and never found anymore
--10" reindeer bear Found one on clearance at the outlet for $1.99 regular price $12
--6" ornaments Bought on Disneydeals for $3.00 each regular price $6.50
-- My First Disney Bear 9" which is dressed in baby clothes with a bib for my grandson Nicholas. Had to cut the tag off that one but I think it was around $20.

I bought several Disney bear stockings one Christmas. They may still have those at the Christmas Store at DTD. I think they were around $15 but don't quote me.

I look for different bear items everytime I go to the parks. I collect bears as well as Disney and Disney bears fit right in.
