Good Morning All,

I am thinking about taking the girls there to get their yearly trim. I'd also like to get my husband a haircut down there too. He gets a flat top. I have a pixie cut. Thoughts on the experience in general?

Thanks!!!!

My dad goes to the barber shop for a haircut on every trip. He times it with the parades because it is right at the start and you get a great view.

My boys enjoyed it. We time it for 12 o'clock so we get the barbershop quartet singing :)

My daughter got her first haircut there. On the next trip, DH and she got their haircut together. I think it is worth it. They are great with kids.

It's a great value for the cost. They get a haircut & pixie dust experience for >$20.

We did this in 09 for my grandson's first haircut. I say it's well worth it. They were patient, he got toys to play with and stickers, not to mention you get first haircut ears and a certificate. :thumbsup2

All 3 of my kids have had their first haircuts there and it's something I treasure. We've also gone back for the oldest to get the colored gels and glitter and it's so much fun. I'd say it's totally worth it.

I agree with everyone else. My daughter got her hair cut there for her 6th birthday. She loved it! He did a great job of giving her a stylish bob and added colorful gel and pixie dust. It as also right as the parade was starting so she got to watch the parade and then get her hair done. It was a great experience and very much worth it.

Curious about this....My boys are well past their first haircuts and keep traditionally short cuts, with spikey hair in the front....If I took them for cuts, would they be able to do anything cool with their hair? Any pictures?

For those that have done it, did you walk in or did you make an appointment? If you made an appointment how far in advance did you have to make one?

Thanks!

Best hair cuts both my son has had there have been the best cuts he's ever had.
