I was wondering if anyone has named there dd ds after something from disney

A friend's name is Ariel. She says her parents let her big sis name her and Little Mermaid was her favorite movie.

The couple on MouseGuest Weekly named their baby Casey (Casey's Corner).

Our DD 5 is named Mickee. She was named after her PaPa, Mickey. He passed away this Monday on her 5th Birthday.

Mickey Mouse was very excited they shared a name when she told him EVERY time she met him last summer

we almost named our dd "aurora" (and would most likely have called her rory) but changed our minds at the last minute (2 wks before she was born). we were concerned about the double r's making it sound like we were slurring our words... we almost chose it because of the symbolism as we had fertility issues and waited many years to be blessed with a baby who ended up being a girl... similar to the opening narrative of sleeping beauty.

our pets have all been named after disney characters though!

DD is Alana, one of Ariel's sisters. We found that out afterward, though. Honestly, I like Aurora or Ariel as names for a girl. I'm not ruling them out if we get blessed with another little girl.

That's my son's name...he is 4 and every time we visit Disney, we take his picture by the hanging sign...Now that he is 4, he says "Let's eat at my corner"...

We didn't pick it because of that...we liked it, and then we said hey Casey's Corner!

My daughter's name is Hannah! But we named her that long before we ever knew about Hannah Montana. She thinks it's pretty cool though

Our dd's name is Violet and our dog is Jack (didn't even think about the Incredibles, just how it happened-keep telling dh that the next pet we adopt will HAVE to be named Dash!).

Our FDD's name is Violet (not because of Disney, we just liked it) and her middle name might be Belle! We just like the sound of Violet Belle.

DD 5 name is Ariel. When we vist the Little Mermaid at WDW she ask's DD for her autograph. DD really gets a kick out of them having the same name.

My DD7's first name is one of Ariel's sister's name and her middle name is Arielle (we liked that spelling so we changed it a bit) after Ariel and her sister. We got the names after watching the movie so many times with her 2 sisters! She loves to go to Disney and tell Ariel all about how she was named... TLM is DH and my favorite Disney movie.

Not DS, but when we got our dog we wanted to give her a Disney name. We went with Kali (Kali River Rapids)

We were standing in line waiting to get Ariel's autograph at the Grotto and DD struck up a conversation with the girl behind us in line. Turns out her name was Ariel, Mom told us she loved TLM and when she got pregnant, that is what her DH and her had decided to use as a girls name.

I liked Jack from POC for DS, but didn't bode well from family! We have a cat named Boo from Monsters Inc though!

When I was in college I had a professor named Dr. Duck and she named her children Daisy and Donald. It is really true! Can you imagine signing a check with "Donald Duck" and having anyone believe you? OR getting stopped by the police and asked your name?
