Disney Auctions ???

Does anyone have any experiences with Disney's auctions that was negative. Their feedback is kept private, which I don't like but understand. However, it does show a considerable number of negative feedback over the past year. I want to know why before I consider buying anything from them...

I had a positive experience using DISauctions. Bought two food vouchers. Used Paypal and received the vouchers quickly. A very good experience. That said, I assume DISauctions has some of the same problems one finds on Ebay and that consumers should try to be as certain up front as they can about what and from whom they are buying--ask questions, lots of them.

I have purchased at least 10 items from the Disney Auctions store on ebay. I have been totally pleased with my stuff. THe only downside I see personally is that all sales are final so if you order something that doesn't fit, you are out of luck. The positive of that however is that I have purchased brand new with tags clothing marked $26 for $5. In my mind, that is a risk I'll take to get great kids' clothing cheap. From close of auction to item in hand is usually 10 days or 2 wks which could also account for some of the negatives.

I won't hesitate to purchase again.

I also had a positive experience with DISauctions. I bought some pins using" buy it now", check out was easy and had my pins within a week. I have to admit I quickly bought them and didn't see the neg. feedback comments until I had finished the sale. I worried I had made a mistake,but was pleasently surprised.
I agree with pp, don't hesitate to ask questions about the item or seller. good luck!

here's another vote for the positive experience...i have purchased several dozen items over the past couple of years from disney auctions and have never had a problem with them...keep in mind that their negative feedback could be someone not completely understanding what the purchased and then ending up with something that they were unhappy with...you cannot return items purchased from disney auctions so once you have bought it, it's yours....
