Melissa-My friend's DH works for a facilitating company...........the way that I understand it they do different things for different corporate clients.........you'll have to ask your DH if that kind of co may have been at his thing?

Morning Angels!!!!!!!
Lousy weather here lately. Lots of rain yesterday and high winds. I think it is supposed to continue today. Yuck.
My mom is taking me and my DD out to lunch for my b'day today. LK couldn't make it, so she'll get her own lunch someday. Ate dinner and had cake at the IL's last night. They got me a pretty sweater and the 2nd and 3rd season of Sex and the City on DVD. My SIL got me the 4th, so I'll have lots of watching to do in this crappy weather. When my DD was helping me unwrap them, I told her these are NOT Disney movies!

Laura, I heard about the damage in Cranberry Township on the Weather Channel. DS was watching this morning and said, "Mom, isn't one of your DIS friends from here?"
I can join the group of people who have not seen POTC. We don't go out to movies often.
Very windy hear today. My cold has moved into the coughing stage. I wish I could stay home, but I can't.

Carol, sorry you have that first cold of the fall, drink some hot tea. It always makes me feel better. Not cured, but breathing in the steam as I sip seems to help.
Today I have to help DS by following him to the Goodyear place, his father is getting him a new spare tire for his truck, and he needs to get the left front hub tightened up. He (DS) leave next Tuesday and DH wants to be sure all is OK for the trip.
After that, I have the interview at ASU, the job that I really want except for the lousy pay! I hope to hear something from Pulte today, I told the recruiter I would not do it for less than 28K, as the other guy is at 30, and is closer to home. 2 different jobs, but Pulte is a lot more up my alley. I doubt I will get any feedback from ASU soon, state jobs are notoriously slow.

Alan, what fun!!!!!! Your girls were really enjoying it, weren't they? I got the sorry picture at first, but after I signed into Imagestation, the slide pic showed up in your post!
As for POTC, YES, you should have seen it, it is some of the best special effects ever created. And the references to the ride are hilarious.
But on a sadder note, I HATE Sex in the City, I have seen one episode, at that was too much for me, I just wanted to tell them all to get a life! I never liked SJP before the show, and still don't. DH shares my dislike for the show and the actresses, also. I guess we are in the minority.
Better go now and have breakfast. See you all later.

Carol, I hope you are feeling better soon!!! I had a cold not too long ago and it just stinks to get them this early in the year!
It's funny, I wasn't one to go to movies much, but Pirates really draws me in. Like Marsha said, the effects were great and references were so funny! But I really love the way that Johnny Depp played Capt Jack Sparrow! He was excellent!!! Really blew me away!
Alan, that looks like so much fun!!! Looks like a great way to spend the weekend!
Oh and Marsha, I don't like Sex in the City either. I saw half of an episode with my sister once and it just didn't do anything for me. Don't have HBO anyway (or whatever it is on) so I don't feel like I am missing much.

Amy has memorized the days that Nemo and PotC come out. I'm sure she'll remind me to hit the stores and get copies. Did you see that if you buy 3 Disney DVDs you can get a 4th one free? Purchases must be made between Sept. 9 and Dec. 31. You choose your top 3, so I guess the sooner you get it turned in the better your chances of getting the movie you want.
