Are there any restaurants that are more veg friendly? Any that you'd recommend avoiding?

DD is a vegetarian and she likes both the Marrakesh and Rose & Crown

I LOVE the Vegetarian Platter at Tangierine Cafe in Morocco at Epcot:

Vegetarian Platter - served with Tangierine Couscous salad, hummus, tabouleh $8.95 It also has Marinated Olives and Lentil Salad. A lot of food for counter service, and good!!

I also LOVE the Lighthouse Sandwich at Columbia Harbor House at Magic Kingdom:

Lighthouse Sandwich - hummus with tomato & broccoli slaw $6.49
Very good sandwich.

Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge is a buffet with some great vegetarian choices.

Any of the table service restaurants are very accommodating. If you don't see anything on the menu, tell the server and they will suggest something or even have the chef come talk to you.

I've done disney as a vegan but it's HARD!!!!!

If you're lacto-ova, you'll have an easier time. Most kids meals have mac and cheese and there usually are veggie options.

If you're lax, ie pescatarian, it's super easy.

There's probably lots of vegitarian sushi you can get as well. And I'm sure there are places with great salads. The Sunshine Season Food Fair at Epcot comes to mind.

I haven't tried the veggie chili yet. I always think about it, but then just get the sandwich. Is the chili very spicy? I can't take spicy at all!

Oh good! Thanks. Maybe I will try it in September. I love that sandwich so much though, and I don't think I can eat both. Luckily, DD is also a vegetarian, so sometimes we get different things and share. I'll have to talk her into the chili!:goodvibes

They had the combo which was the cup of soup and half the sandwich. Its $7.49 on the menu.

Enjoy!

Boma is very vegetarian and vegan friendly. Of all the places I went, that was the one with the most options...and oddly being a buffet, it was the one I almost didn't go to. Never miss it.

I second that! :thumbsup2
