I've been to WDW well over 20 times, but I have always been lucky with the weather. It's going to be pretty chilly later this week when I am down there, and I'm wondering what everyone wears. I'm going to bring layers, but do you wear jeans? Leggings seem like they'd not be warm enough. I feel like I might be overthinking this, but I'd love to hear what others think. We're driving, so I'm okay overpacking a bit. TIA!

I wear jeans or leggings, and sneakers. Layers on top. Jacket that’s easy to stow if I get too warm midday (not bulky to roll up or tie around my waist) along with hat, scarf and thin dollar store type gloves. I find those last 3 are the biggest help on frigid mornings or evenings, and they are quite small and lightweight to carry.

On a cold January day a couple years ago I just wore leggings and a hoodie. DH wore jeans. I was perfectly comfortable but we came from Ohio where it was COLD.

Hot hands hand warmers! That was my favorite thing to help keep warm when we hit Disney in a cold spell. Just put them in jacket pockets. I wore jeans, don’t really do leggings. If you return to the room before night you can switch to a longer jacket.

Layers matter because it’s cold outside but then warm inside so you gotta be able to shed.

If it really really cold and warmth is more important than fashion. Put on a poncho. The plastic layer helps to keep body heat in.

We used a bunch of hand warmers in dec. After we got back, I saw rechargeable ones on Amazon. Got a set for DS , he is very active in coaching his son’s sports teams. Wish I had found them before the trip. I had no idea they existed.

On this same note, we've been so many times and not had any cooler than a light jacket in the late evening or early morning. We are going Jan 28-Feb 2 and we were excited that perhaps the highs would be lower 60s and even into the 50s. Just a nice change!!

But nope, forecast is showing mid to upper 70s, after being cool for weeks!

Bummer :(

As someone told me when we were going to Alaska-"Pretend you're an onion!" Dress in layers. I'll be there next week-have one pair of shorts (as my relatives used to say, "Hope springs eternal") but also turtleneck jerseys and short sleeve shirts, sweatshirt, jacket, wool hat and gloves-so I'm ready for anything.
