Disney/Airplane Tote for Mommy

OMG! This is my current everyday bag!! I LOVE this bag!!

However, I would never take it to WDW! I need something I can get dirty, shove kid's stuff in, cram into a stroller basket, etc.... I would never do that to a beloved bag! :rotfl: Plus DH would never buy me another one!! And I've been eyeing the new LV Paloma bag that has a current wait list;)

I think the Baggalini's are great, but I'm concerned with the weight. I need it to be very lightweight and not tip over my stroller. I'm really considering the LeSportSac Tessa bag just because it looks more hip and I know I can squish it into a stroller basket.

Anyone want to help me select a pattern? Never had a LeSportSac before and these patterns are so out there. But Black seems so boring. Anyone want to help me? Here's the link:

Thanks for all your help!

Now that you said that about the LV bag, I'm thinking your right, and now I'm going to have to get a new bag for Disney - Thanks a lot!!! :goodvibes :lmao: I might look into something from Fossil, I like their stuff. Theres also another brand in Macys that I really like, its the washable looking bags, but this is in all asain prints, don't remember the name of the brand.

I will preface this by saving I have a serious bag problem! But I use the Ralph Lauren tote and duffle sized bag to carry stuff around when I travel (these are my carryon bags on the plane). Here's a link to the tote size. The duffle size is on the bottom of the page. http://www.amazon.com/Lauren-Ralph-tote-looks-pink/dp/B000IRWJNQ

I use a Baggalini Wallet at the parks. It's perfect to fit in the KTTW cards, $$$, ID, camera, extra batteries, and my cell.

For everyday use I use my ever growing collection of Coach bags :rotfl: but those don't get to come to Disney!

I knew I NEEDED a bag for WDW!! :rotfl: I'm NOT crazy!:lmao: There is NO WAY I'm going there with a traditional handbag, especially an LV! :rotfl:

I looked at a few Fossil totes, they looked too "handbag" and "nice" to destroy on a vacation with kids :rotfl:

I bought this just for WDW!! I LOVE IT!!

That is a nice bag! :goodvibes Just doesn't look "squishable" to jam into a stroller basket :lmao: It looks "too nice" ;)

Last November, when I was using a traditional diaper bag (Kate Spade Roger Baby Baby :lmao: ( Did you really expect "traditional" from me!:rotfl: ), I left the baby bag on the stroller and would carry my basic stuff in my cross-body Prada bag.

Actually, that's the material I'm searching for, the Prada bag material. But again, I could never intentionally ruin a Prada bag!:lmao:

I'm going to the outlet tomorrow on the way to the Poconos. DH said "You really need another bag?!!" All I had to say was, do you want me to bring one of my LV bags to WDW?? Sold! Take me shopping!

Chiming in... I bought a baggelini last year and used in the park. The strap was terrible! It would not stay in place. That said... I have to have a new purse for every trip we take. Yes that is my DH screaming in the background "why?". Anyhoo, This year I am going to try out this one..

The front page has a 25% off code for it too! Here are the reviews at Lillian Vernon. http://www.lillianvernon.com/catalo...n=883&categoryId=&catTree=&clearance=&sid=eas

I like that it is smaller than the baggelini. I do not need too much this year. DD will be 2. If you look at the inside pictures of the front flap, it has the perfect spots for those disney fast passes, tickets, room keys etc. It is made for traveling with passports etc.

That's a nice bag at a great price!:goodvibes

This thread prompted me to buy my first baggallini messenger in red today. Hope I didn't get one that is too big. Complusive over-packer. DD is 6 and we really shouldn't NEED to many things. BTW shoebuy.com has 10% off first order if you register and then enter the code MADNESS08 for an additional 20% off.

I like the Lillian Vernon one. I might just have to get that one too :)

So I finally bought the bag. I went to the LeSportSac store on Madison Ave. Surprisingly, they didn't have every pattern in stock. I really wanted basic black or some other neutral, but that's just not their thing. So I got this pattern: http://www.lesportsac.com/store/7836_3804.html
It has to grow on me.

As for the bag, I love it! The side pockets unzipped can hold a water bottle or sippy, I love the outside pocket for travel docs, two cargo pockets for pacifiers and other must haves and the inside has a zipper pocket for my wallet and a cell phone pocket. It also came with a small cosmetic pouch.

I can't wait to test it out!! I really think it's going to work for me.

Thanks for all your tips and advice!
