Disney After Hours--worth it?

We are set to go the first week of March. We've never gone during March, always a quieter week after Christmas or before. At $119/person for the After Hours event at MK...for three hours...but I wonder if we might just get as much done in those three hours as we'd get done in half a day!?

I don't think so. You might get more done than usual but the amount of money for the amount of time really isn't worth it at all

We are going in early March as well. I was considering Disney After Hours on 3/8. I ended up deciding to do Early Morning Magic (EMM) on 3/4 instead. I thought this was a good deal for me and my daughter and a fun way to kick off our trip. I've heard nothing but good reviews about Disney After Hours though. You can officially get into the park at 7pm, although some have said they have been let in as early as 4pm and you don't need a park ticket for this event.

We decided to do it later this month for the first time. When I was researching this very question, I would say that 80% of the people who did it said they will be doing it again. The other 20% said that it was worth it but now that it was off the bucket list, there was no need to do it again. I didn't find one person who did it and regretted it. Then there was a different sample set of people who have never done it and they were split 50/50 worth it/not worth it. But I'm sure you see the one glaring flaw in the last sample set (none of them actually did it).

We are doing it again in a few weeks. It's not so much about not having to wait in line for rides for me. It's about wandering an empty park and taking photos. It's a rare opportunity to be in the park when there is virtually no pedestrian traffic. Never mind the fact that last time we managed to ride Seven Dwarfs *seven* times in a row without having to wait more than three minutes for a seat in a car.

I'm going to try it Feb 15th. I am only there 3 nights, between Mardi Gras and Presidents' Day weekend, and I have an AP so it is discounted. With limited days during what may be a busy time, it is a good fit for me to have the extra time in MK. Plus I am going solo, so it is just my ticket I am paying for!

Yes, it's VERY much worth it. I posted my 2017 experience in the "official" DAH thread.
