Disney after cruise!!

We are going on a Carnival Cruise in the begining of October. After the cruise we are staying at Port New Orleans Riverside. My question is do I have to get back to the airport in order for DME to take us from there to the resort? If so, where and when would we meet up for the transportation to the resort? We don't have an exact time that we will be getting off of the ship on return and when we will make it back over to the airport. Thanks for all your help in advance!

Do you have transfers from the airport to your cruise and then back to the airport? Or are you getting there another way? Thats a very $$ way to get to and from. With as many people as you have I would do a rental to the port from MCO and then do another rental at the port to WDW and drop your rental off at WDW..then take ME to the airport when your trip is done.

I agree. I wouldn't use ME after the cruise, as it would waste so much time. Rent a car at the port and drive it to WDW. Then turn it in somewhere on property - like the Dolphin has Alamo and National to turn it in. I think the car care center has a rental car company as well (forget which one!).

That is the quickest way - usually you're off the cruise ship in the morning, so you can be at WDW before lunch.
