At what point does being a Disney fan, become being an obsessed Disney-a-holic?

Like my home and work station contain a few mousey nick nacks... BUT, In the last 13 months, not one day has went by where I wasn't dreaming of my next WDW trip, or checking the boards, or the official web sight, or an unofficial web sight, for something WDW related....

For the first time in my life, I can afford vacations.... The soon to be DH and I went to Disney in October 2011 and again in February 2012 and I'm currently budgeting another trip this year in like November or December... I can't even imagine going anywhere else... I seem to only have eyes for the mouse....

I see rehab in my future

I am exactly the same way. I am constantly planning and tweaking trips, reading TR's, whatever. So if you need to go to rehab sign me up too. "My name is Sara and I'm a Disney-a-holic"

I have to say - DISNEY is better medicine than some things... and I suppose on the bright side its better to be addicted to Disney than other sorts of things...

I too don't let a day go by without looming on DIS, mouseears, the MOUNDS of facebook pages linked to WDW. I swear the morning they soft opened the new fantasyland my newsfeed was OVERLOADED with Disney stuff...

I unfortunately thou have not been since July of 2009 and my next trip is booked for NEXT MAY (yes 58 more Fridays from now) or 408 days... its sad I know.

Join the club of Disney Addicts!

I hear ya! I'm out of control! And I'm sure we seem crazy to outsiders. Thank goodness we can come here and feel "normal"! :rotfl:

I was like this for many years and I'll say that I had a blast. I still enjoy WDW but I'm not obsessed any more. That's OK, I still enjoy the Disboards and still manage to make it out to a Disney park most years.

Enjoy! You may find that you lose some interest eventually or not. There are certainly worse things to be addicted to.

I hear that, I think everyone I work with is sick of Disney talk.... BUT, now they all wanna go because of me :cool1:

Im so with you. DH and myself are huge Disney holic's, our first trip was our honeymmon back in 06, since then our 4 yr old daughter has been to WDW 3 times, this Nov will be her 4th trip. We went twice back in 2010, once in 2011, then this yr we are going twice again! Im on this website a few times a day checking people's questions/responses. DH has an Iphone that he listens to some broadcast show on his way to work about WDW, and we are always talking and planning our next trips agenda, etc! :thumbsup2
We love seeing our daughters face light up with the magic, as well as our's, it brings out the kid in us! We now have a 4 month old son, which he will be 12 months next trip and cant wait to see the magic on his face!

We LOVE Disney :cool1:

I am a proud Disneyholic. I even had a bracelet made. I wear a Mickey ring and am having a Minnie ring made as we speak. My whole house is Disney. I collect everything from the artwork down to the plush animals. And just about everything in between.

I'm running out of room as you can see. LOL. But I get so much joy from surrounding myself with Disney.

HAHAHAHA! I'm in that same boat. We went a couple times when I was a kid, but my obsession hit as an adult! I hate going one year without going to Disney. We take other vacations too, but I love visiting Mickey. =) My kids are becoming addicts as well, especially my oldest. We aren't going this year unfortunately--I'm completely bummed about it, but I'm having fun planning our April 2013 trip!!

Nancy, all I can say is WOW!!!! :goodvibes...you have a really nice collection there. As for me, I have always been a Disney-a-holic from the time I was 9 years old (first time my parents took us to Disney). When I met my now DH, he liked Disney and grew up with Disney but was not a Disney-a-holic like he is today (thanks to me :cloud9:) and we are raising 2 Disney-a-holic girls too. We go to Disney once a year if not twice a year and our house has a lot of things Disney. We also are DVC members which allows us to go to our Happy Place each year. I am also on the DIS constantly either reading TRs or helping others out with their vacations. Friends and family used to not understand why we liked it so much and used to say things too, but they have learned not to and now when we say we aren't going to Disney, they wonder why :rotfl:. To the OP, enjoy it, Disney is a wonderful (yet expensive) addiction and I hope there is no cure because I am not interested in it anyways :lmao:.

Hi, my name is Dan and I am a Disneyaholic. It's been forty-two days since I last had a Dole Whip.

I just want to get there and be there! We started with saying we'll go once every two years, now we go once a year, and that's not good enough for me! Dreaming of August!
