I"m sure they will do something very special. If it's anything like the 25th, the events/activities will last longer than just the one day it turns 50. (Anyone remember the birthday cake castle?!!). I'm sure the actual day of the anniversary will be jam packed!

I was 12 at the time and I LOVED the birthday cake castle. I think I'm one of about 5 people who didn't hate it!

Eh they're probably not gonna make a big deal about it. Disney doesn't like to celebrate things like this.

But on a serious note... I am 100% planning on booking The Poly for the week of the 50th. The first day that booking opens I'm doing it.

They will be making a massive deal for it but we won't know for a few years to come. They are legitimately overhauling the parks in time for this anniversary so I can't imagine after all the extra attractions and updates they are just going to do buttons like last year. I imagine it will be a year long even much like the 60th for Disneyland was.

But on a serious note... I am 100% planning on booking The Poly for the week of the 50th. The first day that booking opens I'm doing it.

I'm going to book the Contemporary. Nothing like being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom, especially when it is a nut house!

If you get on hold now, you will be the first in line. They should start booking sometime in 2020 so you will have to hold till the next available operator. Kindly listen to the music.

Just wondering if its something worth saving for but it sounds like it is just hope the celebration continues into summer vacation
