Disney 3x4 and 4X6 journaling cards *accepting requests*

Splendid Iloveeliot!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Sewing is almost done Craftyladylyn, I just need to think of a way to finish off one bit of it then I'm done :dance3: It's looking good :)

Those are all good.... Cape Canaveral... what do you want for there? The Space centre or is there more there too? I've never been!

I have never been either .. maybe there is a logo that would cover it (I would think the Space Center/Centre is what "we" are talking about...

Which version of Fiona do you want Craftyladylyn, human or ogre? Or do you need both?

Oh.. hadn't thought about that .. just saw that she was a meet and greet character.. maybe they do both.. If you would be willing to do them both without a separate request.. We'd LUV them!:hippie: Maybe I should send the Butterflies to tell you... :butterfly:butterfly:butterfly

As I was thinking about Craftyladylyn's parade card request this wonderfully catchy song from an old Disneyland Paris parade... Dancin' (a Catchy Rhythm) got stuck in my head. So I had to make a card for it :cool1:, it's not the request card... that'll be up later or tomorrow :)

Here's the song..... very addictive! I warn you!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hufWrqNaHk0

and the cards...

I haven't listened to the song.. but the words "Hey there I there Ho there.." is part of the original Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song (You're as welcome as can be.. M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E) - and yes I am old enough to have watched it! :rotfl2:

These are cute ... really cute!

centre/center... lol :rotfl2: Do make sure to point out if I ever forget a US spelling on a card, I try and catch any of those ones and do 2 versions unless it's a place name... like Kennedy Space Center... I'll have to just spell that wrong because it's right :) Pains me greatly :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Welll... you know the power those butterflies have... you can expect both cards :) I just can't refuse them :butterfly:butterfly:butterfly

Ohhh... I should do a version with that line too... they also have that in that parade song :)

Thank you for the requests - and going above & beyond for the Kona & birthday one

I have the pages to print & insert, but what digi program do y'all use?

I'm not there quite yet (a NB & a 2 year old & work keep me quite busy!) but I'd love to dabble in it one day "in my spare time" - HA!

Sorry TracyJWM.... missed your post with all the chat last night :) You're very welcome!! As Iloveeliot mentioned, I use photoshop, it's really really good but a very steep learning curve, we have it for work reasons so I'm making good use of it :thumbsup2

I finally started writing down a list of things that I'm hoping to get journal/filler cards for. :-) Again I always try to do my best to double check the list but I might have missed something.

Here are the four I was thinking about:
1) Splash Mountain (my godson's FAVORITE ride)
2) Walt Disney: One Man's Dream (movie at Hollywood Studios)
3) Voices of Liberty (singing group at the American Pavilion in Epcot)
4) Spirit of America Fife & Drum Corps (American Pavilion in Epcot)

Whatever anyone would like to do with these is perfectly fine. I'm up for either a filler card or a journal card...whatever seems to work best. Again thank you again for all the time and effort you put into making all of the wonderful cards! :-)

I can do the first 2 for you, I'll leave the two American Pavilion ones for a while to see if any of our US ladies would like to take them :) I'll make journal cards for both, I was only thinking a few days ago how we don't have a splash mountain card :)

In terms of filler cards... have you seen the fab Splash Mountain posters? One of them would be splendid to use as a filler card (that's my plan anyway!)... like this one... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-3jGKsOPbACE/UHhAiDlmlnI/AAAAAAAAANk/aSxkDse5qZo/s1600/Splash+poster.JPG or the artwork on this page would work great too... http://cartooncave.blogspot.ie/2011/10/happy-40th-anniversary-walt-disney.html

LouisaBean, here are your cards, hope you like them :cool1: Magic Castle Hotel has a very plain logo - just those 2 diamonds and the name of the hotel in a plain font. The name didn't look too good on the card in a plain font so I changed it to a script one, let me know if you'd prefer a plain font instead, thanks :)

These complete your current request, please feel free to pop back if you have any more!

Thank you so much - you are very clever - it is exactly what I was after for the kids to journal on...thanks again

Craftyladylyn, here are your cards, enjoy :) Those pesky butterflies.... human Fiona is almost impossible to find as a good clipart so I extracted this one from an online catalogue picture of a toy - so she's not 100% the same as the movie but I think she's good! What do you think?

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

Kennedy Space Center - is this ok for Cape Canaveral?

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

I'll take another 4 please :) I still have your parade card on my list in case you are wondering!

Pixie - here are 4 more for you..

There are three meet and greet characters from Shrek

1. Shrek

2. Donkey

3. Princess Fiona

4. How do you feel about Cape Canaveral?

Once again you worked your magic... I think Kennedy Space Center is what they were thinking when they made up the list .. probably couldn't come up with it... Thank you!

(I'll be sending you an email shortly and then I'll post 4 more...)

Just saved these and I think Donkey is my Fave! (But hearing Eddie Murphey's voice in my head this early in the morning is slightly annoying..) LOL!

O.K. .. Pixie .. ready or not... here they are...

Please:

1. UP - characters .. I've never seen the movie ..(actually I've seen small parts of it while flipping channels) .. don't know if we need more than one card - probably not ...unless the butterflies tell you that they are ...:butterfly:butterfly:butterfly

2. Boneyard in Animal Kingdom.. kids do love to dig.. (I once bleached turkey bones and buried them out in our lower backyard - where the sand was.. and my son dug for days!! Kept him busy ... He's now almost 23 .. don't think he'd be interested anymore! LOL!)

3. Medieval Times - Huzzah!:cheer2:princess:

4. I Fly - Indoor Sky Diving (this I might want to try - if I lose 20 lbs!) .. I haven't seen any child yet do this..in the albums I've done ... but they must have had some kids or they wouldn't have requested it .. sounds fun (and safer!) (I just googled it .. there is one "Skyadventure" here in AZ .. between Tucson and Phoenix..I may have to put it on my bucket list...maybe for my 55th Birthday in January)

Thanks!!:yay:

Coolybooly.... I've added these all to my list :) I need Boneyard for my collection too!

Sorry to confuse everyone! I was worried about stepping on people's toes and stealing requests. I will do the Happily Ever After card as well as the great day card. I think that is how it was worded. I'm on my phone typing this so I can't look back. Tigger gal and Pixie don't worry about those. Now we just have to hope my computer stops acting up and behaves itself!

Lyn was there a specific card you had in mind as a Happily Ever After for boys or should I just brainstorm? I was thinking maybe princes or something with pirates or Woody and Buzz. I also thought maybe a general card with the Fairy Godmother since she creates happily ever afters. Finally, if I can figure out how to do it and find a good image, maybe an open book with the words "happily ever after" for teenagers. These are all journaling cards, not fillers right?

Iloveeliot - great ideas!! Can't wait to see the finished cards :yay:

Pixiesprite - Cute cards! I'm afraid to listen to the song and get it stuck in my head :rotfl2:

Pixiesprite - that graphic would so make a great Splash Mountain card - I think a filler would be great for that!!

PaulaMarie - I'll take the last 2 to finish up your request for these 4.

Craftyladylyn, I dunno if this is the type of card you were thinking of, do let me know if it's not! Here is a plain "I love a parade!" card...

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

and then I did a few cards with some little parades on them...

*********** please see my new thread for cards :upsidedow ***********

Let me know if these will work for you or if you want me to do any more "mini parades" with different characters!! Thanks :)

...
2. I love a parade! (there are specific parade cards) just a generic parade watching card.. popcorn::

These are all Awesome Bossome! :rockband: I'm sure we'll be able to make them work! :rotfl2:

The "Plain One" will be great if the families watch any non-Disney parades and the rest will be great for any Disney parades (In our case since Disney changes out parades on a regular basis .. these will keep us from using an extinct card)

Yes I am up at 1:00 am .. we had a storm come through around mid-night (love the monsoon season .. love watching the storms .. rather have them come through during the day so I can watch them ... but I can't get back to sleep.. so I'm spying on here! - I LUV when magic happens while I am sleeping!pixiedust:)
