Disney 3x4 and 4X6 journaling cards *accepting requests*

Pixie - on the Wish list .. is one for the GKTW Villa's that the families stay in .. it was down on the list a ways ... but I have a layout package that I just opened and it has several pictures of this families Villa (inside and out) so it was obviously something they wanted to remember.. could you make a card please? ... Something like "Our Villa" or "Our Home away from Home"? .. I know this adds more than what you requested .. but the others I promise to be patient for! Any Colors of your choosing.. any style... Thank you!!!! (Know you are asleep now - or should be ..but I wanted this here when you woke up!)

Just seeing this now Craftyladylyn, I didn't get any notification of your post, hmmm.... naughty disboards! No problem at all... I'll put it straight to the top of my list, I hope to get to it tonight!

Thank you Pixie! It's not a REAL rush job on the Villa card .. just this week - I have several other layouts I can do to finish this child's album and I'll just leave space for his journal card!

I think on the check in cards that there is enough journaling space!!! Sometimes I think just the dates are sufficient.. We don't even know if the families will journal at all .. but we do think with the special journaling cards that they are more than likely to do so - rather than a lined or unlined piece of cardstock!

P.S. ... I LUV THEM!!!!!

Yes finding clipart can be time consuming for sure and honestly what takes me the longest on some cards. Of course many time you find clipart that you want that you need to take off backgrounds or be manpuliated but for me that is some of it I enjoy!

Our small Crops of Luv contingent in Canada are also going to be using these cards (all of the ones you are creating for us!!!)

On another note .. I have noticed that some people who re-pin the cards don't always leave the "info" in the re-pin .. don't know why they would erase it .. or maybe the way they pin does it .. but the disclaimers seem to disappear.. don't know if this is a problem or the next time I see it if I should contact that person .. let me know...

Awwww.... thanks so much, that's so sweet of you.... I'm famous Regarding pinterest, I think it's impossible to control. It's why I decided to post the cards there in the first place, I figured they'd eventually get there so if I was the one that did it first I could somewhat control the spread of information. Anyhoo... in order to get the image all pins eventually lead back to photobucket and all the info is there Thank for for thinking of it though

Nah.... the key here is lack of sleep The kids get us up verrrry early, so I have looooooong days punctuated by many essential cups of tea, and during these breaks I steal a few minutes at my always-on computer, thus creating the cards piece by little piece thoughout the day. I also have all my main designs saved as templates so the clipart cards are insanely fast... clip new colours to the border and lines, chuck in the clipart, maybe add a shadow & title and done The more complex ones take more work

On that note.... here are your Villa cards, a few different cards, allow me to explain...

First up...

A card with a spot to fill in the family's villa number & the title "Our Home away from Home" ( I found this guy on lots of online photos from the front of the villas):

Then... same card only no title, I figured folks could add one if they wanted with stampers or on Word etc.

Then... I had this Mayor Clayton image saved off so I did the same design only with him instead of the Villa # image... I left the title blank again as this is a very generic card and may serve you well for random pages!

Hey everyone .. I wanted to shout out to you all - I've posted some of cards in a special "Crops of Luv" board on my Pinterest .. so all the COL volunteers can see them .. there is SO MUCH LUV for all of them! Everyone is SO EXCITED!

Some have already begun printing out the cards (Which is great .. I won't have to print them all - I'll just create a memory stick with them in folders and they can search and print .. or print their own!)

I really can't describe how much your creations and efforts mean to all of us!

newlittleminnie, here are some filler cards inspired by your request, please let me know if you'd like me to go in a different direction with them or if they will work for you! I don;t mind at all if you'd like me to try again!

First is Florida Doodles...

This one is centred on the card with white at the edges so you can sit it onto a Word page nicely (2 versions - one "We're going to Florida" & one without that)

Next is the same idea only with the colours & design expanded to cover the full 4x3 card for PL printing (2 versions again)...

And then we have "Florida Journaling", this came to me as an idea, to make it look like an old fashioned adventurer's journal cover.... this design turned out pretty cool, especially with the textured cover so I reckon it would make a splendid PL filler card!

Now it may not work for your needs - as you're adding it to a bigger page - so I can come up with a new design for this for you if you prefer more along the style of the first card - a title over some splashed paint type thing ?

I would like to put some word art in the top corner of each blank or lined page. One to say 'Florida Doodling' or 'Florida Doodles' and one to say 'Florida Journaling'

Excellent, will do... do you want some doodles on the journaling card too or just the paint splash & text?

Also... if anyone wants any different text on the Journaling card then let me know! Anything generic will work - no personalisations I might think up a few variations myself and post them!

PIXIE... Do you know what I thought when I saw this card????? (Of course you do .. you probably have already created an alternate card.. ) ... If these said "My wish trip (Vs. Florida Journaling)...the amazing adventures..(etc) and then the box for the family to fit in their name.. " we could use them as "Book Plates" in the inside front of the album cover... not that I already have several requests in .. so I'll just put this one on my list of things to ask in the future!
