First Limo Ride

Craftyladylyn, here are your My/Our First Limo ride cards.. with & without Mickey ears I found these quite hard to do as I wanted them to look sort of grown-up and limo-y but also fun, I think I managed it but if you want more fun ones then please do let me know!

Of course I'll help you newlittleminnie, if I can oooohhhh word art from scratch is tricky but I think we can do it!

A5.... hmmm... a 3x4 on its side would be a nice size for a corner of an A5 page, I think? I could make some filler cards with your word art in them, thus allowing me to reuse the artwork here but then also do a version for you with no border so it would fit nicely onto your page? You could just plop it onto your page in word. What do you think?

If you're happy to do that, let me know! And throw a few ideas my way for inspiration... fav colours etc, font styles you like, things you really don't like... that sort of thing, maybe even a picture that inspired the idea for the wordart

Pixiesprite I have a bit of a request for you, if its not something you're happy to do just say

I started off just making a binder of puzzles to keep myself occupied on the 9 hour flight, but now I've decided to add some plain paper pages in back for doodling and some lined pages in the back for taking notes to use in my scrapbook when I get back.

I would like to put some word art in the top corner of each blank or lined page. One to say 'Florida Doodling' or 'Florida Doodles' and one to say 'Florida Journaling'

However the pages are A5 so it would need to be bigger than the usual clipart :/

I've been trying to come up with word art that I like but I just can't seem to get it right so I was wondering if you could give it a try?

It would just need to be general word art as we're visiting more than Disney

If you don't want to do this just let me know and I'll keep trying lol

A filler card sounds great and I can just add it in word like you suggested

I didn't have a particular image for inspiration but I have an idea in my mind of it looking sort of like a child's writing if that makes sense? Sort of with squiggles and smiley faces inside the 'O's and things like that? The kind of things I used to scrawl in the back of my notebooks during class at school! Haha

I hope that makes sense :/ lol

As for colours I prefer bright and eye catching rather than pastel colours but other than that I have no preference, whatever you think looks best with your design

Excellent, leave it with me!! And grrrr to your sunburn, I hope it feels better soon. It is waaay too hot here tonight, everyone is sleeping very poorly, all the more reason I should get to bed before they start waking up again

It'll take me a few days to mull some ideas around for your cards, but I think they'll be fun!

I'm sorry they were difficult .. they are wonderful! They should be "Grown-up and Limo-y" ... it's a "Grown-up" event .. that even when kids ride in one - it makes them feel special and "Grown-up" ... You've Done Good!

And... you may now throw another 4 at me, I'm enjoying the brain workout and you get special treatment as GKTW is so wonderful! Go on, go on, go on

These are terrific Pixie! ... They will add an elegance to the tea party pages that we get... and I also can cross off the Dino Land card off the list! (Love when that happens - the list gets shorter faster!)

I was going to ask if I could give you four GKTW requests this time (and well next time too) because I'm about to ask (when my next 4 are due) for Sea World specific cards... so this works out perfectly!

My next 4 Pixie GKTW specific requests are:

1. Village Idol (Their talent show - the kids participate .. can sing, tell a joke, hula hoop.. dance ... we've seen all kinds!) - They just get to be a kid!

2. The Wishes and Dreams Pillow - (In the Castle of Miracles is a tree - not to be confused with Elmer the snoring tree outside) and the wish kid (along with any siblings that want one) receives a pillow (I'm not sure how the process goes) - It is a small pillow (They are sewn by volunteers - there is a specific pattern that is followed - there are groups all over the world that make up the pillow sleeves and I think they are stuffed at GKTW - but I'm not entirely sure). It has two different coordinating patterns and I think they try and match the child's interest with the pillow he/she receives...a lot of the "tuck in" pics we receive have the child with his/her pillow as well - just another thing for them to "hug".

3. Dino Putt (Marc's) - A small 7 hole miniature golf course - all dinosaur related (Bright colored Dinosaurs)

4. The Enchanted Carousel - a merry go-round that is fully accessible - that the kids (and adults) can ride over and over .. as many times as they want .. it is shaped like a mushroom - a big red one (Well at least the roof is) - and is next to the Castle of Miracles (It's the mushroom in the logo!) ... we get notes from the parents that before they head out to the amusement parks that their child/children insist on riding the carousel - on a specific/favorite animal - before leaving GKTW each day.

These Ariel as a mermaid cards are cute! I'm going to download them for Crops of Luv use! The one with the quote would work on the front page of a child who's favorite character is Ariel!

Pixie - on the Wish list .. is one for the GKTW Villa's that the families stay in .. it was down on the list a ways ... but I have a layout package that I just opened and it has several pictures of this families Villa (inside and out) so it was obviously something they wanted to remember.. could you make a card please? ... Something like "Our Villa" or "Our Home away from Home"? .. I know this adds more than what you requested .. but the others I promise to be patient for! Any Colors of your choosing.. any style... Thank you!!!! (Know you are asleep now - or should be ..but I wanted this here when you woke up!)
