As for the Minnie, I ended up not buying one of those mixes so I don't have one. Could you copy it onto white cardstock on a printer/copier?

As for the Minnie, I ended up not buying one of those mixes so I don't have one. Could you copy it onto white cardstock on a printer/copier?

All the pages are adorable, but this Minnie one is my fav! I was going to suggest to color copy it onto white scrapbook cardstock and then maybe mount it to chipboard or mat it on cardstock and freehand cut around it. Such a cute design!

I might do that. I'm going to try to use the neat receipts scanner and see if it works first. I'll let you know if it doesn't work.

Treats, I finished one just to see how it came out, I'm really happy with it!! I've been mulling it around in my head for weeks and I'm glad to see it came out that way I envisioned it. Now to just get the Minnie's done. I'm going to build the rest of the page and just add that in when I get them done.

huh, I just noticed the S is smaller then the rest of the letters. I wonder if it's supposed to be that way or if DD touched my cricut. I'll double check before I adhere any more.

Lisa is cutting the last 3 brackets for me for Let's go. My bug wouldn't talk to her gypsy. I should get those back this weekend.

Then I'll be over 1/2 way done. Mostly it's just assembly at this point which is the time consuming part.

BTW what is a receipt scanner? It sounds like something that could be used in my household since DH is self employed and a lot of those receipts fade out.

neat receipts is a paper scanner. They have a desk top model and a travel model. DH uses the travel one for work. It scans papers and stores them on your computer, not sure how you sort them, DH I think sorts by date.
It's great for those new receipts that fade when they get moist. Also they are saying that the new receipts have bp in it, that bad stuff in plastic water bottles so I try not to keep them around for long.
DH bought it when he was self employed but he has convinced a few of the companies he works for to buy them for all employees that need to file expense reports.

thanks!!! I'm my own worst critic. I'm not 100% crazy about celebrate and good times but they were caught in the crosshairs of DD's accident so my brain petered out on that. However treats has been mulling around in my head since I saw the brownie mix packages.

mom scanned it for me on my brothers scanner and it looked pretty good so I'm going to buy some photo paper tomorrow and try to get them shiny like the originals.
