The Gold Plan (TM) vacation package for 2003 is just one of the many vacation packages that Disney offers at Walt Disney World. There is not a lot of information about this particular vacation package on the www.disneyworld.com website, but basically this vacation package includes accommodations at a selected Walt Disney World Resort hotel, the Ultimate Park Hopper Ticket, meals, recreation, theme park tours, and more.

Each guest on Disney’s Gold Plan receives one (1) breakfast, lunch, and dinner per night during the package stay. The example below illustrates a dining plan for a three night, four-day package.

Children ages 3 to 9 must order from the children’s menu where available. Children under the age of 3 may share from an adult’s plate or a meal may be purchased separately a la carte from the menu.

Prior to ordering, please let the server or cashier know you are on Disney’s Gold Plan. Applicable taxes and gratuities are included for all meals.
 
PRIORITY SEATING:
The Walt Disney World Resort utilizes a priority seating system for selected dining locations. Priority Seating is accepted at most Walt Disney World Resort restaurants and can be arranged with Guest Services at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, touching “55” on your in-room telephone, touching *88 on any Walt Disney World Resort pay telephone or by calling 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463).

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
An accepted major credit card guarantee is required for dinner shows. Dinner show reservations must be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled seating time to avoid a full price cancellation charge.

Selected fine dining restaurants also require an accepted major credit card guarantee. Cancellations must be received at least 24 hours before the scheduled seating time to avoid a cancellation charge (charge varies by location).

WALT DISNEY WORLD GOLF:

The Walt Disney World Resort has five 18-hole championship golf courses and one 9-hole, par 36, walking course all designed by masters of the trade.

Disney’s Gold Plan includes unlimited golf, lessons, green fees, electric cart, range balls, golf shoes and rental clubs per person. All golf club and golf shoe rentals require a photo ID and a deposit on an authorized major credit card (limit two sets per credit card) for each set of golf clubs.

Proper golf attire is required and golf shoes are recommended but not required. Soft or spikeless golf cleats are permitted on the courses. Complimentary transportation is provided to and from Walt Disney World Resort owned and operated hotels. Please see the valet desk or bell services to arrange pickup times. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under 16. There is no age restriction at Disney’s Oak Trail Golf Course.

WATER SPORTS:

Enjoy a day of water sports activities with world champion Sammy Duvall’s group of professional instructors. Excursions leave from Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Please arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your reservation. Trips may be canceled due to inclement weather. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under the age of 14.

For reservations, call 407-939-0754. An accepted major credit card is required for booking. Please make reservations and cancellations at least 24 hours in advance.

* Parasailing:
Parasail excursions are available daily for single or double riders up to 350 pounds (160 kilograms). All participants must be more than 48 inches (122 centimeters) in height and weigh more than 100 pounds (45 kilograms).

* Wakeboarding and Tubing:
Wakeboard/Tubing sessions include a fully equipped tournament boat, world-class instructor and sate-of-the-art equipment.

* Water-skiing:
Sessions include a tournament ski boat, world-class instructor and all related equipment.


WATERCRAFT RENTALS:

Set sail for a terrific outing with the whole crew! Watercrafts include Mercury Marine Water Mouse, canopy boats, Sun Tracker, pontoon boats, canoes, pedal boats, and sailboats (Specialty cruises not included).

Guests must be at least 12 years of age and 5 feet (1.5 meters) in height to operate Mercury Marine Water Mouse. Guests must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license to operate a canopy boat, Sun Tracker, or pontoon boat. All drivers must sign a release. A parent or legal guardian must sign the release for guests under 18 years of age.


HEALTH CLUBS:

Enjoy length-of-stay health club access at one of our state-of-the-art work out facilities. Guests must be at least 14 years of age to use the health club equipment. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests 14 to 17 years of age at all times.


BICYCLES:
----------
Wind your way through scenic paths on a relaxing bike ride. Adult and children’s bicycles are available for hourly or daily rental. Surrey bicycles are also available at selected locations and are available for 1-hour rentals. A parent or legal guardian must sign a release for guests under 18 years of age. Children under 16 must wear a bicycle helmet. Helmets are included with this rental.


CANE POLE FISHING:

Want to do some fishin’ Tom Sawyer style? Hang a cane pole from one of our docks and feel as if you’ve stepped back in time. Fishing is on a catch-and-release basis.


GUIDED FISHING EXCURSIONS:

Hook a fun-filled fishing trip for the whole family! A two-hour excursion includes boat, guide, tackle, fishing equipment, and refreshments. Morning, mid-day and afternoon excursions are available. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under 16 years of age. Excursions may be canceled due to inclement weather. All fishing is done on a catch-and-release basis. Each guest is entitled to two-dozen live bait. Additional bait may be purchased for $15 per dozen.

HORSEBACK TRAIL RIDES:

Hit the trail at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground for a gentle 45-minute horseback tour through scenic surroundings. Jeans or slacks are recommended. Open toe shoes are not permitted. Guests must be at least 9 years of age and no more than 250 pounds (115 kilograms) to ride. Rides may be canceled due to inclement weather.

A child’s favorite! Located at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground Petting Farm. Offered daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Operating hours are subject to change without notice.


HAY RIDES:

Each night, relaxing hayrides wander the trails of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground and the shores of Bay Lake. Hayrides depart from Pioneer Hall, last approximately one hour, and return to Pioneer Hall. A parent or legal guardian must accompany children under 9 years of age. May be canceled due to inclement weather.


MINIATURE GOLF:

Enjoy a round of miniature golf at either Disney’s Winter Summerland or Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf courses. Disney’s Winter Summerland is adjacent to Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Fantasia Gardens is located across from the Walt Disney World Swan Resort. Take the family on an exciting journey through the Magic Kingdom Park. Young and old alike can revisit their childhood on this fanciful tour of the most magical place on earth. Presented daily and lasts approximately 2 hours. Guests of all ages may participate.

DISNEY’S THE MAGIC BEHIND OUR STEAM TRAINS:
Get an inside look at the Walt Disney World Railroad. Explore Walt Disney’s passion for steam trains as you join the opening crew and prepare for the daily railroad operation at the Magic Kingdom Park. This tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Guests must be at least 10 years of age to participate.

DISNEY’S KEYS TO THE KINGDOM:
This tour invites you to explore the Magic Kingdom Park and take a special look at the history, heritage, and philosophies behind the Park; you will even get a glimpse behind the scenes at some of our backstage areas. This tour lasts approximately 4 1/2 hours. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

DISNEY’S WELCOME TO THE MAGIC KINGDOM:
For our “First Time” guests, this tour takes you on a full circle, introductory visit to the Magic Kingdom Park. This walking tour is an informative journey, introducing you to each of the seven themed lands of the Magic Kingdom Park. This tour lasts about 1 1/2 hours and is available in various languages.

DISNEY’S WILD BY DESIGN:
Learn some of the stories behind the making of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. You’ll learn how art, architecture, historical artifacts and storytelling are combined to transport you to exotic lands filled with wild animals. A light continental breakfast will be served midway through the program. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Guests must be at least 14 years of age to participate.

BACKSTAGE SAFARI:
Find out what happens behind the scenes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. Highlights of this walking tour include a tour of a backstage animal housing area, the Veterinary Hospital, the Animal Nutrition Center and a special visit with one of our animal residents. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Guests must be at last 16 years of age to participate.

GARDENS OF THE WORLD:
A Disney horticulture expert leads this tour of select World Showcase gardens at Epcot. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

HIDDEN TREASURES OF WORLD SHOWCASE:
This eye-opening program gives you the chance to discover the unique elements of the World Showcase pavilions and share Walt Disney’s Epcot vision. This tour lasts approximately 3 1/2 hours. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

THE UNDISCOVERED FUTURE WORLD TOUR:
Discover the Future World that guests rarely get to see. Hear intriguing stories about Walt Disney and his ultimate dream: Epcot. Appreciate Walt Disney’s living legacy by visiting the Future World pavilions including some rare glimpses of backstage areas. This tour lasts approximately 4 1/2 hours. Guests must be at least 16 years of age to participate.

BEHIND THE SEEDS, A SPECIAL GUIDED GREENHOUSE TOUR:
Go behind the scenes at The Land at Epcot to explore the wonders of growing food plants with the Disney touch! Tour greenhouses to discover over 60 crops from around the world, and see some of the latest techniques used to grow and improve plants. Take home environmentally friendly ideas for growing your own gardens. This tour lasts approximately 1 hour.
 
Enjoy unlimited use of our Children’s Activity Centers, designed especially for kids between 4 and 12 years of age. You’ll be captivated by its feats of physical daring and acrobatics. For 90 minutes, forget what you know. Believe what you see. Upon check-in, you will receive one (1) La Nouba certificate per person, per reservation. Please contact Guest Services, visit the Cirque du Soleil Theater Box Office or call (407)-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) for reservations and availability. Tickets must be picked up no later than one (1) hour prior to show time or your seats will be released.
