Where can you get them and can you add funds to them like if I get a gift card for 10 can I add more to that

Tink- be aware that accumulating disney gift cards requires a lot of organization. You will need to keep track of the cards, even after you've spent them. If you need to refund anything, it will be refunded to the gift card (no other options). Also, once you buy the gift cards, you are locked in. It may be easier to set up a separate savings account. That money can be used for anything, including a disney vacation.

Also if ou do decide to get gift cards be aware of the type that you are purchasing. There is the Disney Store Gift Card and Disney Gift Card. You can use the Disney gift card at the Disney Store as well as on Disney Property, but the Disney Store gift card cannot be used outside of the Disney Store.

Target has them online for email or physical delivery. You get 5% off with a Target RedCard. I haven't tried yet, but they claim you can transfer up to $1,000 to a single card as long as the cards you are transferring from have never been used. So, you could theoretically buy the lowest denomination physical card and then buy email delivered cards to increase the funds.

You want to use the Disney gift card site https://disneygiftcard.com/ and set up an account. Then you can combine up to $1000 worth of GCs onto just 1 of your GCs. I also buy discounted GCs from Target or Costco etc. and then combine them on the Disney site, so I can payoff our reservation without having to deal with a bunch of GCs. I then will combine GCs to make a few $500 GCs to take with us and use them to payoff our room charges every few days.

Unless you're planning to pay off a room reservation or package with Disney gift cards, don't combine them into one gift card that's $1000. If you want to change cards (transfer to a different card), you have to transfer the entire balance.
