ANTSS2001 - yep 2004 was quite a hurricane season! Glad we were there for only just the one. I was totally amazed how quickly Disney cleaned up all the downed and broken trees the morning after Charley. Took pictures of them sawing a limb that fell across a balcony at ASM before we went to the parks. And all parks but AK were open for the onsite quests the morning after. They completed all their safety checks quite early and I think parks opened by 9:30 AM. The CMs everywhere were so wonderful during and after that hurricane. I could write a book. And let's not forget Disney did not lose power when 100,000 in Orlando did.

We live closer to the PA line - about 12 miles. But have spent numerous times at the Inner Harbor.

Ok my heart is set to go to Baltimore on that date.. so with or without a meet I will be at the Inner Harbour ... if no meet.. most likely... dine at Phillips.. sit by the bench along the Ben and Jerrys or maybe go to the Aquarium....

hold on folks - had to check the Oriole's schedule. Seems there is a home game on 7/19 (playing Detroit) so parking will be really bad at the Harbor.
Its a 7 PM game. So I'd need to be cruisn the area no later than 1 PM for a 2 PM Dis meet.

Just letting you all know. How does this impact planning for everyone?

Now, I know I am not from Maryland, but we are traveling down to Maryland towards the middle of August. First time heading down there-going to a Red Sox vs.Orioles, we are very excited!!! If you have any fun places you could recommend-food, entertainment or what-ever (we will have our kids with us)that would be great!!!!! We saw on the food channel a place call Paper Moon Dinner. Is it good or over rated? O.K. sorry didn't mean to change the subject, which if I was going to be down there when you have your meet, I would have liked to join in. Thanks again

I think the Paper Moon is over rated. It's cute, but not worth the drive. If we REALLY like G&M we'll let you know.
