OK everyone, I was told here at work that she wanted to extend my temporary employment but needs to get approval so would I type up a list of what I do every day to justify her keeping me. Now he's the trick, I don't do much so trying to make it sound like I do. I typed this up, now I need ya'll to tell me how lame it sounds or if it really sounds like they'll approve it!!! Be honest, you won't hurt my feelings!

Assisted Heidi with the labeling of all of the Library Reference Pieces.

Assisted Name goes here by tallying a number of surveys that were given to teachers in regards to the books they use in their classrooms. I also was responsible for inputting the data necessary to complete the project.

I have placed orders for Katherine Jasiewicz for CA Excursions, Marketing Collateral NEEDED for OH/AZ/NA sample packs/boxes, VC Literacy Center Cards and other projects.

I make flysheets up for Name goes here.

I researched a project for Name goes here that was left incomplete by a previous employee; contacted the vendors, collected the necessary information, placed the actual order, did all the follow up in regards to shipping dates, proofs for the product, requesting of PO’s, coordinating the shipment from one vendor to another and have been the liaison between the vendors and Name goes here when needed.

Was trained to be back up for Name goes here in the Print Shop. I worked with him several times learning the machines and types of projects he receives. I assisted him with making booklets and using the binding machine in the print shop. I have processed some print orders for him freeing him to do others. I shipped the orders to the warehouse and made up the packing list for each shipment. I was designated as a contact for print jobs that needed to be done while he was on vacation. I am on standby to assist him when needed.

I am scanning books and pages for Name goes hereto be used in Power Point Presentations as necessary.

Work with Name goes here and Name goes here in regards to orders and when they processed, shipped and delivered and by what carrier.

Daily updating, using COPS system, of orders for Name goes here. I research using COPS as to the PO #, Quantities, Shipping and Delivery Dates, Carriers, report my findings to Dale and do any follow up as requested.

I have only just had Lotus Notes, SAP and Telescope loaded on my computer and just this week received my logon ID and password. I am be being trained to use these programs to further assist Name goes here.

So how lame is this?

If so, I think that it should be Name Goes Here ~ with all words capitalized or even in quotation marks.

Hello friends. Just wanted to let you all know Chris and I are on our ay home. Only have about 123 miles before we get there. I'll be posting pictures but I'm not sure if I'll do a full on TR. This has been the worst trip to Disney we've ever had. There were parts that were fun but there's a lot that I don't want to relive either. I just wish it could have been like last year.

Anyways, hope all is well here. I skimmed the last page of posts and wanted to say welcome to the new member of DIS Land. I look forward to getting to know you.

Ahh...I LOVE BB and was THRILLED that DAN won BB and Keesha won the $$$!!! Did anyone see "Baller" and "Matty" from BB9 sitting in the audience??? GREAT FINALE!!!! I loved when the jurors were grilling Dan and Memphis and I loved when Renny took off on Jerry!!!

Biggest Loser was awesome...waiting on Amazing Race and Survivor as well.

Hey Sharky: HOW WAS SUNDAY AT THOMAS??? Any pics??? I was thinking about you and Trent as I knew he was soooooo excited to see Thomas!!! And as far as school goes, there will always be an adjustment period, you know....school for kiddos Trent's age can be FUN at times and SCARY at other times!! Oh and the weather, everyday BRIGHT SUN and around 73 degrees, no humidity!!!

Howdy Carla!! : Welcome home, get unpacked and settled in and then when you have time you can fill us all in!!




Howdy Michele!! I LOVED DL AND CA!!! LOVED IT!!! But I do not think you can compare the two.....DL opened in 1955 and WDW opened almost 20 years later in 1971.....that being said the CASTLE in WDW is HUGE, HUGE and I was very surprised by the size of the Castle in DL....but then realized the "age" difference.

It is beautiful just the same!!! On Sunday as we entered Main Street in MK, I was busy looking at a CART full of Characters that pulled in behind me....Mickey, Minnie, Mad Hatter, Goofy ..... DH went to sit in that little park right across from the stairs to the train station ..... when I was done taking some pictures I turned to him and then he pointed down Main Street towards the Castle....yup, having been to WDW at least 12 times, we were surprised at the Castle. I am so sure those that have been only to WDW and then go to DL will agree with me!!!

We were thrilled to pieces with Indiana Jones and Pirates!!!

We did not do all that much as we were just walking around mostly to get the feel of DL. My DS and DH did California Screamin' and LOVED IT!!! ::

I will tell you the EASE of getting back and forth from your car to the Parks and DTD is so much better than WDW. We jumped on that Tram, jumped off at the parking garage and were at our car in no time flat!! That to me is so important after a long, full, sunny day at the Parks....in the World, you could easily wait 30 minutes for any form of transportation to your hotel or car....

Anyway, our new home is DL! And we are not going anywhere for a long time!

You are right Love if it was the name or title of something yes I would do that. however I took out the names of the people that I worked for doing those things as I didn't want anyone's name on here without their permission. Who knows if any of them are on the DIS or know someone on the DIS, I had their first and last names in my report.

But thank you for the suggestion in case I would have messed up, you'd have helped me fix that. Also thank you for saying it sounded good!

First of all, I offer these suggestions ... and that's all they are. Feel free to use or not. But here's my take.

1. Start all your sentences/phrases in the same manner. Either use past tense or current tense but you want to start with an action verb. That way if someone doesn't read the entire sentence, they still know what you did by reading the first 1 or 3 words.

2. How about deleting the Heidis and Katherines, etc and just stating the job itself? The important thing is the task(s) you are doing and not that you assisted or who you did it with. It sounds stronger by just stating the task.

I took my sweet Frasier to the vet for some bloodwork tests and they found a problem with his heart while checking him They are waiting for a few more tests to come back tomorrow but it looks like it will be treatable with medicine I sure hope it is! Please say a prayer. He is like my first child

Anywho, I needed to get some of my stress out so I went to the gym (that we just joined) and ran for an hour. I feel so good right now
