It was gorgeous here, 71 degrees, nice breeze, bright and sunny and no humidity. Just an absolutely perfect day!

very true.. I have found a few new friends.. i have a friend Elise thats normal.. (as normal as my friends can be ) shes gunna be at my baby shower.. and a friend Jenn.. she would be there but she has a 7yr old that she cant bring.. her father is out of the picture and Jenns boyfriend works on saturdays.. he said Brooklyn can go hang at the tattoo shop while hes working but Jenn doesnt want Brooklyn to be stuck there.. especially since its hard for Auric to deal with her alone because shes deaf and has this teenage attitude.. when your signing no or telling her to do sometihng she doesnt want to she will cover her eyes and turn her head away. its silly... the coolest part about these 2 friends is that their boyfriends both work at the tattoo shop and Josh loves them so we can all do couples things.. or us girls will hang out and the guys will hang out.. its nice.. and the Elise is the same one I was previously talking about that I didnt really like but now that my friend Amanda moved away to OK Elise has totally changed.. i had only hung out with her with Amanda and i think Amanda just brought out a bad side of her..



whoa! thats cool! I used to live in vacaville when I was younger too..



it is cold today.. i got my window wiiiide open.. i love the cold! Gwen and I took Josh to work and she was sticking her head out the window and she would bring it in and snuggle into my arm then stick it out again because the air was so cold!

Laura~ great pictures! The dance sounds like fun! And Wiard's looked like fun too! I haven't been to that place in y-e-a-r-s! We used to take our preschool there when I was teaching in Ann Arbor. Tom and I always took our kids to Plymouth Orchard instead. Good times!

Hey all! Here are some of the pics I promised.

Friday night we went to the mommy/son dance. It was alot of fun. Aidan opened doors for me and told me I looked pretty. THen he followed it up with "but your hair looks funny!" It's been awhile since I curled my hair I think!!!

Great pictures Laura! You two look adorable and Aidan sounds like he's a wonderful young boy, such a little gentleman. You're doing a great job with him. He's such a cutie! I bet you had a wonderful time together!

Saturday we went to the cider mill. We go every year with my sis and bil. It was Abby's first trip and my niece Makenna. She is only 16 days younger than Abby.

Abby did not like being bundled up! Welcome to Michigan baby girl!

It was such a surprise that they actually liked each for 5 minutes that I had to get a picture!

This is the first picture we have have with all 5 of us!

More great pics Laura. I love he ones of the kids together, they are so cute. Nice family pic too, its hard to get them. Someone has to take the pic so rarely can I get one with everyone in it as I'm usually taking the pictures.

Ok, so here are the pages I did last night from our Sept 2007 trip.

I decided to play on the "trip of a lifetime" theme and make it suitable for DVC!

And DD's first haircut

The Eeyore page is actually what I made for my DD to use for Show and Tell using the Letter "E" (I'm trying to do a Disney theme for each letter). Once I started working on the page for her preschool, I realized I could just go ahead and make the full scrapbook page. So I have one page done from our May 2008 trip!

I know you do Carla, that is so sweet. I kept putting it off as I didn't want to give up like 2 or 3 weeks to not be able to walk around but I don't think I can deal with it much longer. It's oo painful. I think once we get our house sold and we get settled in AL I'll do it before I start working as that is why I keep putting it off.

Yeah, i can understand not wanting to be disabled for a few weeks but if it gets rid of your pain in the long run I think it would be a good thing. I had no idea you were selling your house just to move to AL. So is the AL move going to be a perminant thing? I hope your house sells for ya and for a fair price in this market

Sat night I went to one of my monthly crops with a friend. I did some more Disney pages...will have to take photos tomorrow. I had fun...but then found out the reason the other 3 moms didn't show up is b/c they went to a different MNO with the mom of the kid that has all those allergies -- gosh, now why wasn't I invited? Actually, I had a lot more fun cropping...but I thought it was funny...I had found out by mistake when someone let it slip.



Thanks! I was trying to think of something fun and realistic -- I find the best way to make tasks more enjoyable, is to really relate to them.



OMG -- I so totally remember that Bumble Bee -- I always wanted to be picked and never was...you were so lucky!!!

The one where you said you were waiting in line for something -- that looks like the line for Country Bears...I remember in the late 70/80s, this was a very crowded attraction and they had queues set up just to get into the lobby to wait again.

Ok, I have a 9:30am Sunday School class on "Effective Parenting" and really should be in bed! 'Nite all!

Thanks Carla. The AL thing will be like all his other moves, except this one to FL. It will be 4 - 5 years. That's why we buy as that would be a lot of rent money down the toilet over that period of time. So we buy and then at the end when he moves on to the next state, we sell. We never get a chance to build up equity though, so that is a drawback. But you gotta do what you gotta do.

I hope we don't have a problem selling either with the market this way and hopefully we won't lose money. If we break even we'll be content, if we make money now that would be excellent! So I guess we'll be finding out soon huh?

Laura - thanks for sharing your pictures. You and your son look great for the mother son dance and the pictures from the festival are great too. Looks like you've had a fantastic weekend
