Hey y'all! I haven't been over here in awhile and LOVE what everyone's doing. I could spend all day looking at these DISigns! :cloud9:

I have a question. We're going on an unexpected trip next week. I've been going through some photobuckets to see what people already have done and was able to find the names that I needed without having to make any requests since we're leaving so soon. I have to run to the store on my lunch to get the shirts and transfer paper. I know it was super easy when I made the shirts for our Sept trip last year but can't remember the kind of paper I bought. I'm thinking it was for "dark" shirts because the kind for "white" shirts was too hard to work with?? I just want to confirm before I head off and buy the wrong thing! :rotfl:

TIA for the help. I went back through a few pages but didn't see it and I know it's been asked a million times on here. I cannot wait to find time again to DISign...life's been too crazy but I miss it and will hopefully be back sooner rather than later!

The dark transfer paper is easy no mirroring the image, if you have time you may want to check out AMY's transfer paper I used it a few weeks ago and love them .

No mirroring for dark but you do need to mirror for white? I'm still learning about how these work :confused3

Oh and where does everyone buy the transfer paper?

ETA - sorry to hijack your thread!

I have used the dark transfer on white shirts most dark don't require you to mirror the image but always check directions. ( or check out the post below about Amy)

You can purchase the transfer paper at Micheal's craft store, Walmart, staples and other stores Most have used Avery or Hp with good results.

A fellow Diser (Amy) fount some transfer and sells the on her website , no mirroring and she sends a sheet with directions and hints if you want to check them out here's her website ( also she ships very fast )

Thank you for the quick reply. I wish I would have known about the trip sooner so I could order from Amy. I need to print the pictures off tonight so they can dry until Saturday morning and make the shirts then...nothing like the last minute which seems like the story of my life these days! :rotfl:

Not a problem at all!! I bought mine at Staples last time but it's way more expensive than Amy. I looked today while I was getting some stuff for the office and it was like $16.39 for 5 sheets of the dark and $13 something for 5 sheets of the white!
