Just a heads up-not all Kenmore dishwashers are Whirlpool. It all depends on who Sears contracts to make the product.

We bought a Whirlpool that I love after our GE Profile (that was original to the house, 7 years old) died over the summer. I've been very happy. It's very quiet which was important to us because we have an open floor plan.

For those of you who got a new dishwasher.....did you notice that it was wet inside??? Our brand new dishwasher was wet inside and we were concerned that it was used. They tell us they test them at the factory so i just wanted to make sure i didn't get a used one. thanks

We just got a new dishwasher 3 weeks ago. It's an LG normally $700 but got it for less than $500 at a Black Friday sale at Home Depot. It wasn't the one I had planned on getting, but it was well rated and we couldn't turn down saving over $200 dollars. We really like it so far. Ours is wet/damp on the inside of the door when we open it after the cycle is complete.....but the dishes are all completely dry.
