There are four of us, but only 2,plates and 2 bowls were provided.

Do I need to ask housekeeping for 2 more sets?
 
I take it you are in a studio. Just ask housekeeping for more.
 
If you are in a studio ask for enough to cover a family of four for your length of stay.
