No, I did not.
By putting, in paranthesis (Florida Teens) it referred to the story.
Be sure to write to these (and many other) newspapers as they do the same thing, in their articles. They must be singling them out as well.

What I found unbelievable was that the teens didn't do this just once or twice, but at 3 separate locations. How does one develop so much aggression and hostility? Certainly I hope they are appropriately punished, but even more I hope they get some professional counseling to help them deal with whatever issues lead them to act out like this.

Desensitization to violence, at the extreme. We see many levels of that desensitization every day, everywhere, by many people, though the youth probably moreso.Tigger_Magic said:......How does one develop so much aggression and hostility?.....
Tigger_Magic said:I can't describe the video except to say the kid looked like a savage attacking some prey. He was leaping and smashing with such force.
I just think there's more here than just too much video game/TV violence. The word "savage" hardly begins to describe his actions.

That's what I am having trouble grasping. How can a teen develop or generate that much aggression on repeated occasions? I don't condone what they did -- it was incredibly horrible. But there's something that caused this anger to build and something that triggered it.CathrynRose said:Yes.... it was disturbing, to say the least.
Not an angry-way. Very animal-istic.
Gives me chills.![]()
