Disgrunted CM speaks

Sad that someone is that bitter. Unfortunately, it is people like that mixed with Disney greed that force us park guests to get charged such high prices!

gee, I'd be bummed if I came across a CM with this type of attitude. Wonder why he doesn't work there anymore? Sad story.

that guy sounds like a total jerk!

Well, I don't think Disney would have a hard time figuring out who he was. Let's get real, he was one of those artists drawing your picture near New Orleans Square. That starts to narrow it down.

He has now incrimated himself in theft. Exactly how stupid can you get?

What a disturbed young man... wow! I am disgusted.

No, I think it means he was one of the CMs in the store nearest to the artist. The artist writes up a bill, and you have to bring it into a store to pay for it first. (at least, that's how it works in WDW).

But how many recent male employees in that area have lost their ID 3 times...stupid, stupid person.

Personally, I doubt the authenticity of this "interview." Or if the interview actually occurred, I doubt the truthfulness of this "CM."

Sounds like someone just trying to stir the pot.

At least that is MHO.

I agree with you Beth. In any case, what a miserable person he seems to be.

I agree with Beth. That article just reeks of fabrication. If it is real, the guy is a jerk and Disney can definitely do without him.

I'm just glad to know he's gone.
No matter where you work, you'll always find miserable people who are more than willing to whine. (As if he speaks for the entire CM community.) It's depressing, but true.

I always thought CMs had a pretty good idea what they were getting into. Having never worked for Disney, I'm pretty aware that working at the parks isn't exactly glamorous. This guy acts like it was all an awful nightmare.

Sometimes you just gotta make your own magic.

What a jerk.

Sounds like any employers nightmare. He didn't describe anything that sounded like the job/Disney was bad - it sounded like he could have been working anywhere. He didn't like working with customers so he stole from his employer to make up for it? Obviously this guy could have been working anywhere and done the same thing - because it was Disney he gets the press.

He's probably working at a minimart now and doing the same complaining and stealing. Personally I've worked many minimum wage jobs that required being nice to customers (even tourists!) - I enjoyed them. He needs to find a different career.

Unfortunately, the cost of living is so high in California, that he may be more representative than we think. What I don't understand is, why work for Disney? there are plenty of low-paying jobs in SoCal, with less stringent rules!

I recently saw a show were "disgruntled" employees of many different business, saw their unhappiness as an excuse to break the law. They thought it was due them.

It happens all over the place and it's a very sad side effect of the "me" mentality. Especially in people with wharped senses of values to begin with.

Most of these people do get caught or get fired, because they are usually also not that smart.

I'll bet his little secret about stealing food and being undetected has been stopped now. Great attitude this guy has, why did he stay there at all if he hated it so much?

If this article is genuine... is it about Disney or is it about the guy being a thief and having a poor work ethic?

It shows a lack of morals and a lack of character.
I have to wonder how he was raised.
