DISers Stalking DISers...our end of June adventures!!

They did enjoy it. Luckily, kids don't seem to notice when things are not as they should be. I say I will never be back, but we all know that I will if that is what the kids want. I can promise that we will be seated in the middle of the action, though!

The free FP rocked! We had other instances of free stuff... so stay tuned!;)

Am I the only one who enjoyed Chef Mickey??:confused3 We we in that big room in the back. Everytime we have gone, we are always in that room;) All the characters came by one by one. They all signed autograph books too. They stood around and let us take lots of pictures, digital camera(Ours and then my parents)then the little camera I was using for the kids. Though you can definitely tell they were on a "schedule" and rotation of where they were going. Maybe its because we were there at 7:50am, they were still fresh:laughing:

We were in that tiny section between the check-in and the fresh fruit. I think our problem really was the section, as we could see them busily working in the other side of the room. There were only 4 other families in our section. 2 were just about ready to leave when we got there, and 1 had about 6 or so kids, and got lots of attention. The last family got the shaft right along with us, and left before Pluto came over. The kids didn't really notice... I was just disappointed because every other character meal we have done has been so much better, and I knew they could do a better job. Avery's favorite this year was Pluto, so she was so excited to meet him. He came to our section the first time, visited the large table, and left. I had to ask our waiter to send him back to meet us, and Avery was really upset that she might not get to see him. Then my camera was acting up and the pics were washing out, so I snapped about 5 pics trying to get a good one... Pluto's body language let me know that he was not pleased to stand through more than 2 pics. :sad2:

Awww that is so sad... I would of complained:rolleyes1 We are a family of complainers...some more then others:laughing: The only thing I didnt like was how the hostess sat the kids. We had a big round table, there were 7 of us. She had the 3 kids sit together(with their backs towards the room). I thought this was odd. I mean, why wouldn't you sit the kids so they can see everything. Well she said its because when the characters come to the table, its easier for them(Characters)as they dont have to scoot around to the other side of the tables and the kids are right there. It made sense, but I am the one who was able to see the characters come and go and walk around, the kids basically didnt see them until they were right up to the table:confused3

Oh, trust me... I am a complainer! Wynn loves for me to handle things because I can be so sweet while laying somebody out! Let me put it this way... my trip to guest relations was the first of several. :rolleyes1 I am not one of those to complain over every little thing, so when I do get mad enough to complain... I absolutely get my way!

So what did they say?

Didn't complain about that one, as I was just disappointed. But I did let guest relations at AK have it over a CM, and at Epcot over a food vendor. I'll PM you the details, as that story is on my last day, and I don't want any spoilers!:rotfl2: You know DM will get me if I get out of sequence!

Don't ask me how this double posted... since I was PMing Jackie at the time!

We were in that tiny section between the check-in and the fresh fruit.

We got stuck in that same section this year and it sucked! The characters came by but were rushed and only stayed long enough to snap a pic. Last year we sat in the middle of the action and it was awesome! From now on I, too, will be requesting to sit in a good location! We pay a lot of money for that character interaction! :sad2:

Hi Brittany! I was just wondering about you last night! I know I haven't been around much, but noticed a that you and Wendy were absent as well. Are you doing a TR? I want to hear about BC and Storm Along Bay. Pics, too!

Hi! I know! I've missed chatting with y'all. I've just been so busy since we got back, plus my internet access has been extremely spotty :sad2: . It really sucks! I was going to try to write a TR but I have had NO time! Plus, I'm not a picture taker so we really don't have very many pics. But hopefully one of these days I'll write up a little something.

I'm so sorry that you had a bad experience, but I died laughing when I read the above line.. "Pluto's body language"... that just tickled me. :lmao:
Darn that Pluto! :goodvibes

I can be a complainer, also. And Bob is like Wynn - let's me "handle things"!

We had a less than stellar experience at Shula's this year - last year was fabulous - this year I felt the waiter was rushing us out the door - and considering there were only 3 tables occupied in our area, I thought that a little odd! He actually caused me to choose the wrong 1/2 bottle of wine - he was such a jerk. Bob didn't mind it, so I let him drink it and I ordered a glass of what I wanted IN THE FIRST PLACE. As I was still enjoying it, another server came by to refill Bob's glass, and he started pouring into mine before I could stop him! I said, "NO! That's not the same wine!" and he apologized and brought me a fresh glass of Merlot. The least they could do. I am a very generous tipper, and suffice it to say, they were not recipients of my generousity! ;)

I made a MAJOR COMPLAINT at MK at the Indy Car Race track.. Maybe I'll share that story later. lol

Maggie - I enjoyed your last couple of updates on your TR, especially how you made us wait for the next pic of Splash Mountain. Too cute!

Kari - Sorry about CMs. I think we will keep this off our list. We've never done it but never missed it either. I'll stick with CP while the kids still love Pooh. Yes, I know what you mean about lugging 35 pounds or so while your kid is sleeping. Totally was there and it will be in my TR (in about a month! :lmao: )

I have a complaint about the bus system.

What teasers you both are! SHARE!! I'll get the last 2 days of my TR up soon, so you can see expert b*tchin' at work! :rotfl2:

Sorry about CMs. I think we will keep this off our list.

The food was really good. We did that one for Tucker, because of the Contemporary resort and the classic characters. Just be sure to tell them at check-in that you are willing to wait for a table in the thick of the action!

Glad to hear you are stretching your TR... a month from now I may have time to read it! :thumbsup2

Oh, I guess I could see the total beotch in you after getting to know you all these months...:rolleyes1

What is that my kids always say... oh, yeah! Takes one to know one! Guess its why we get along!
