Hi everyone! I'm back! Got home Sunday night and came straight to my parents house to visit (sister is here visiting too) and this is the first moment I've had to get on the computer! I'll be heading home tomorrow and back to work Thursday, so I'll have stories & pics to share soon.

Hi! We're HOME!!! Had a wonderfully fantastic trip - got to meet Courtney and Ryan, Crazy Kanga (Laura) and her great family, and Wendy and her lovely daughter and extended family. Unfortunately, didn't get to catch up in person with DawnMaree, but we spoke on the phone!

Ahem... are we forgetting someone? I realize I wasn't around for long, but I've got photographic proof that we met!

OOPS!! I'm SO SORRY Brittany! It's Wednesday, and I STILL have one suitcase not totally unpacked. That's why I'm not even going to attempt a TR - I'm bound to forget something, or SOMEONE. yikes...

Hey OhMari. Thanks for rescuing us from the brink of oblivian. I think so many of us now have our own individual trip reports, everyone has just about abandoned this one. It makes it so hard to keep up now that we all have different threads after so many months of all posting to one. Come on over and visit us all individually.

Ok... so I realize the day/date comment was directed at me... the pressure of writing a trip report correctly! If someone would just post the rules...

Today was supposed to be DTD and MGM... but we had "finished" DTD on Tuesday, and had missed a good bit from AK due to sleeping in, so decided to go to AK in the AM instead. We were aiming to get there for rope drop at 8 AM, and actuaaly made it there by 8:10. While Wynn and the kids went to get in line at Safari, I went to EE for fast passes. On the way there, I blew past a huge fellow and tiny little bride. I stopped and turned back, and said "Are you Tony?" It was, and Scilla had quite a look of puzzlement that I knew them! Had it not been for Scilla's bride ears I would never have recognized them!

After getting my fast passes, I went and rode Safari with the family. We went to EE, picked up a parent swap pass, then Avery and I went to the Boneyard to play while Wynn and Tucker rode Everest. Next Wynn played with Avery while Tucker and I rode Everest with the parent swap. I love those tickets!

After meeting back up, Avery and Tucker wanted to ride Dinosaur again, so we headed off. Avery really wanted to ride, but made me cover her eyes for the scary dinosaur at the end! Next we rode Triceratop Spin and played on the Cretaceous Trail.

We ate lunch at Pizzafari, then headed out to MGM. We started out by grabbing fastpasses and parent swaps at Tower of Terror and Rock N' Roller Coaster. We then went over to Star Tours (twice). Next we did the Mermaid show, then caught the High School Musical Pep Rally. Afterwards, we went to meet Little Einsteins and JoJo. We then did Journey into Narnia. This pic cracks me up... they were dressed SO inappropriately!

We next went for our rides on TOT, and got new fast passes and parent swaps. We did a little shopping, then headed to 50's Prime Time Cafe for dinner. We were supposed to be stalking Courtney, so I sent my waitress off to find her, saying "Feel free to embarass them!" So off my waitress goes... hollering "COURTNEY! RYAN!" at the top of her lungs! A minute later she comes back with them! It was really fun to chat with them a few moments... even though I'm sure everyone else thought we were nuts!

Avery and Tucker sat at the table and barely spoke... but Ryan has another admirer! I believe the highlight of Avery's night was giving him a five, and he pretended it burnt his hand! She still talks about it when she sees his picture.

After dinner, we rode Star Tours (twice!), Rock N' Roller Coaster, and TOT again. By this time, we were ready to head to Fantasmic late show. The line was all the way back to the Crossroads sign! We considered not staying, as we didn't figure we would get into the stadium and get a seat, and were NOT going to stand through it again this year... but we stuck it out and did get a seat at the last section... even had some breathing room! The show was really nice, and a great way to end the night.

Kari...Rags started with the "rules". I just agreed with him. I love your pictures of your kids. And I can't believe they weren't afraid on Dinosaur...

We made the mistake of going to the 10:30 show of Fantasmic on an EMH night for MGM.. it was SO CROWDED and SO HOT. And of COURSE, that was the one time we didn't have our fans. I thought I was going to pass out.
We loved the show (Tony's right - it's great! Thanks, Rags! ) but I was too hot and too crowded to enjoy it fully. Next time.....

I'm so glad you're back, and I feel like a movie star!!!! I made your TR!!!!! Wahoo!!! That was such a fun "stalking" game that you played... You did it VERY well, I'll give you that =)

It was AWESOME meeting you and your family--- I couldn't stop telling Ryan how excited I was to meet you and how NICE you were!

Yup! You're onto me! As a sneak preview of my TR, MGM day was not so good for us. By Wednesday, everyone was totally pooped out. But you'll just have to wait until I get there on my TR. I know you are anxiously awaiting your picture to be posted there, huh?

We didn't get in line until 10:15. We were too busy riding to stand in line! When we did go to get in line, we got to the street that the ampitheatre is on, then made a U-turn to search for the end of the line. I was pretty shocked to see that large of a line for the 2nd show... then I noticed many people there were not hotel guests.Seems they played in the park until 10, then waited in Fantasmic line, and no one was bothering to look for armbands. Really stinks because the crowds were heavy until after the show.

hmmm... think it was "a plan"?!

I just wish we had our fans that night - lordy it was hot hot hot. I was SO uncomfortable! Next time, we get in line earlier to be less crowded - have fans, and two fist the drinks. LOL
