I wanted to stop in & say Hi too. Life has been crazy busy. We're still out of the house & living at my SIL during the week and my sister on the weekends.

About a month ago my hard drive crashed I lost everything including the 300+ pictures of our last Disney trip I'm still upset about it.

oh no! That happened to me as well. I bawled. I still have the hard drive all wrapped up nice. I'm still looking to find someone who may retrieve our pics. Did you send it out to a specialty lab?


Nothing going on here. Just getting ready for Christmas. Trying to get my shopping done now so I don't have to worry about it later.

Kari, that is so nuts about the cracker barrell incident. And Wynn needs a good talking too! That is just nuts. He just wanted to let her know that he was upset but blamed you. Really!

Didn't blame me... just didn't own up to it on his end!

Joyce... if your hard drive was able to be repaired, there are programs you can run to retrieve lost info. Ours did that after our 2006 trip. I had literally JUST downloaded all the pictures, and erased the camera, when it went out. We couldn't get the hard drive recovered at all, but Wynn was able to run an "undelete" program on the camera, and we got 95% of our pics back. Guess he is good for something!

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to look into that undelete program on my camera. I already took my baby to a computer wiz but they said the physical drive can not be started to even begin trying to retrieve it. I still have mine all wrapped up cozy too. Luckily it was still under in home warr from Dell so I didn't have to pay for anything.

Wow Renee... that all sounds exciting.... we used to go to Ft. Lauderdale when I was a teenager.... so yes that was many years ago....loved it... I am sure you will have fun.... How is Dana doing in school? High school is a big change....

My Daniel found out last week that he was selected to the New York All- State Junior HIgh Band as first chair saxophone.... we are so proud of him... then yesterday he was notified that he was also selected to the SENIOR high All State.... almost unheard of for a freshman.... we are so excited... and the little jerk acts like it was nothing.... music is just something he does for "fun"... he really loves baseball and golf .... he tells he that he plays the sax because band is a fun class.... thats all..... ooooooooooooh he makes me crazy.... if he only know how good he was...........

As you can tell by my ticker we are going back in a few weeks to WDW... got a great deal on airling tickets and a $59 at POP for 2 nights and $140 at AKL for 2 nights.... already have annual pass so couldn't pass up such a great deal.... Maggie is off of school so she won't miss anything.... it is just Maggie, myself, my dad and my sister...... Daniel has basketball tryouts and is attending a workshop at Cornell that weekend.....

Kari.... Winn deserves a good cold shoulder for that one.... sometimes I wonder what goes thru their minds..... MEN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Daniel! What an accomplishment!!

Dana is enjoying high school - has met some VERY nice friends - it is SUCH a good change for her. However, the workload is amazing. geesh..
She is going to be a "singing fairy" in the Fall Drama,"Midsummer Night's Dream" and I'm still worrying that I will be stuck making the costume, oh craft imparied Renee...

Booked my airline tickets for Ft Lauderdale today - we had 3 vouchers for $75 each on JetBlue, because of the fiasco of June's delays, but we had to use them within the year, so that's another reason I wanted to GO SOMEWHERE for Spring Break! The flights are very reasonable, thank goodness! I am hoping to rack up Marriott points to help with the room rate - it is pretty steep - but the resort looks fabulous. We'll slurge to stay there for four nights - told Bob it is his present for his promotion!

Hey everyone! I just need to vent, being as I'm home alone and I can't get ahold of my mom.

Okay back in September, I went to the RF concert. I had told my friend before then that I would buy her tickets and pay her back. Well when tickets went up for us to buy them, I had less than two days to come up with $300 bucks almost and that's money I didn't have. So I was only able to buy my ticket. Fast forward to the day after the concert, I text her to tell her I got something and she says oh thanks I was there. Someone at her boyfriend's work had won tickets and didn't want to go, so they were given to them. Here's the clincher, my mom and sister were row M and they were row A in the same section at the concert. They never spoke to any of us.

Okay so it's been about a month since I have talked to her. I haven't heard from her on my phone, seen her on campus, heard from her on facebook or myspace. Well last night I'm on my facebook and I add the Josh Kelley concert to my facebook profile and I see also that's she going.

This is the same friend, who I've been nice and paid for their tickets before into a show. Paid for the tickets and have them pay me back. I feel like a third wheel when it comes to this stuff. I just I guess it finally got to me last night. Okay I'm done rambling. Thanks guys

What cute photos of all your kids..... I can't get mine to sit still long enough to take one!!!

Renee' ... I know what you mean about the costumes... I have been doing the Marching Band uniforms for 4 years now... I think that I might stop though.... it is so much work...I really enjoy the time with all the kids but dressing 70 kids every week, cleaning, sewing, etc.... its really to much.....

I am glad Dana is doing so well in high school.... I was worried about Daniels transition - mostly because we moved him ahead a grade in math and science and he is with all upper classmen... but he is doing very well and seems to have adjusted well.... it's all the homework that he doesn't like....

Maggie is overwhelmed right now.... she is taking all college classes - our high school offers them thru the local community college if you have enough credits to graduate.... she is getting a good taste of what it will be like next year.....plus she is in the midst of marching band, Junior Achievement and just started working part-time at Dunkin Donuts....only one week of band left though so that should help....

the weather here has been wonderful.... Tim and Daniel went to the club to golf yesterday and I raked leaves.....good exercise I say..... I love living in the northeast during this time of year... it is soooooooooo beautiful..... but then January and February are brutal...... .coooooooooooold.... ...snoooooooow....


Mandy........ I feel for you....maybe you could talk to her about how you feel... I would guess she doesn't know your upset about this turn in your friendship....sometimes the other person doesn't even realize the affect some of their actions have on others......I hope it all works out for you..........have fun at the concert anyway!!!!!

Well we are less than 3 weeks away form the birthday trip.... can't wait.... have any of you ever stayed at AKL..... I was wondering if there was something special we should make sure not to miss???????????????

Wendy - So nice to hear your gang is adjusting so well to school, too! Spent the evening guiding Dana through her first draft of her first major "research paper". I thought I went through high school once already?!

Got to love research papers, I could post my newest paper I have to have done by next Wednesday and haven't started on yet.

The friend drama, is going to be there, some of it kind of comes back to the boyfriend, I don't know. I'm going to the concert, already bought my ticket and I'm going to have fun.

I drove yesterday on the interstate alone for the first time from here to the Nashville airport, in the rain so I'm proud of myself.

Now if only I could find the Lance Bass book I would be happy.

I also tentitively booked the Dolphin for June. Bob's employee rate wasn't showing up yet on their computers, so I have a rate of $209 a night until that information becomes available. I can cancel that up to a week before. I will cancel this if I get my act together and plan a San Francisco trip for June instead.

Called the Dolphin today and Bob's employee rate was now updated in the computers - got a rate of $129 a night! So... it looks like we are 3-peating a June Disney trip to the Dolphin! We are going to only do our "favorites" this time - take it slow and savor. We still have a few days left on some Park Hoppers and have at least 4 days each for water parks... so, we'll probably do Blizzard Beach one day and Typhoon Lagoon another day - and spend a day at the Dolphin Grotto Pool We'll probably make ADR for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. Dinner at France, Rose & Crown, and 50's Prime Time - the rest will be decided when we are there. Just hope JetBlue cooperates with some good flight deals!

Thats great we are hoping to be at Beach Club Villas form 27th May to 6th June then 6th to 9th of June at Hard Rock Hotel in Universal then 9th to 17th or 18th June at Villas at Wilderness Lodge depending on availability. I cant wait!

Anyone else booked for June yet?
