So another exciting day in the Johnson house. DS10 gets off the bus covered in a bright red rash. We just got back from the Doc & it's fifth disease. He's not contagious now but Doc recommends staying out of the sun.
I swear someone is testing me this week.

Well, la-ti-da to all you pedicure people. I wanted to get one but didn't want to spend the money. So I just bought a new color nail polish and am doing all my nails tonight...

We love Crystal Palace. We have been there for lunch twice and are going again on Sunday. (I love that I can say days now and not "next week, next month, etc."

Have a good time and wear sunscreen!!!!

I know...I smile everytime I say Disney & next week in the same sentence.

We're Packed! We're Packed! We're Packed!!

I sorted through my things and Dana's during the day yesterday and packed Dana's new suitcase - almost all of her things fit. Bob came home and I had to "inspect" to see that he had "enough"... he packed the medium size suitcase for himself, and I got the PAPA BEAR sized one! Of course, I also have all the toiletries and extras in mine. But, once again, I have packed entirely TOO MANY outfits. I just never know what I want to wear until that day. I'm SO BAD.

All three suitcases have great "rollers", so we should have no difficulty moving around the airport. I will bring a tote bag for a carry on and I think Dana may bring a small one, too, but we should be set now. Just have those last minute things to throw in (makeup, etc)... Transportation on all sides has been reserved and the mail has been stopped. Mr. Mocha will be dropped off at "the Inn" on Thursday morning for his "vacation".

WE ARE READY TO GO TO DISNEY WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AAAHHHHH!!! I still haven't had time to even start packing! I'm really starting to flip out. Tonight I'm doing my laundry and then I hope to get a good start on the packing, and finish tomorrow. I CANNOT believe we're leaving in 3 days!!!!

We are going to try to be at the 9:45 Turtle Talk also. And I didn't realize until yesterday that you are going to be at Pop for the first few days of your vacation. I hope we see you there!

Well, DH is taking the girls out to eat tonight so I can get Amanda packed. Everything is clean & I have a list so all I have to do is get it in her suitcase.

Hi all today was another average crazy day this morning my dd went to school i went to work since i got to get those days in before going to disneyworld and washington d.c. and did the same things i still havent started packing and dont plan to till Saturday or late Friday evening my dd has 1 and a 1/2 more days of school left Then it time for disneyworld i wish it was already here

Thank you! You are exactly right- Once we get to Disney, it's go, go, go... We don't stop! So I really need to go to bed early tonight --- Doesn't help that we have to wake up at 3:00 am!!!! But I'd rather sleep on the plane and get to Disney early vs. sleep later and not have as much time to spend in the parks!

I can't wait!!!

When do you leave?

Since Paul found out that he is going to be off ALL day on Friday we are going to try to leave around 6am...that should put us at Pop around 5 or 6 that evening...we will stop a few times along the way.

That's great news! I love leaving early!!!! It makes the trip seem so much shorter! Do yall have any plans for that night? Or just hang out at POP, swim, etc?

I think we will probably just get in and get settled in the room, eat dinner at the Pop Food Court and swim. Who knows though we might just hop on a bus to the TTC and ride the monorail around for a little while so we can see the sights of Disney!!

Well, the great thing about staying on-site, is that even if you don't leave the resort, you're still at disney!!!!

But, who can sleep that first night anyway??? I always wanna get out there and see things!!!!

I know...you know we might just walk around and explore the resort. We didn't do that when we were there last January. We only saw the path that we took from Classic Hall to our room in Bldg 7. I never even really walked close to Hippy Dippy pool...when Amanda swam she swam in the computer pool. I know we really missed a lot by not walking around some.

Food wise here are how things are going:

Chef Mickey's may not go back to next year.
Park Fare food and service was great
Hoop was amazing.
Kona was great.

Disney Quest stinks, food is still good.
