It's cute... but awful big. Seems you always have small purses in the pics where you are using one. I would think about how much you will really use it before ordering. If you think you'll use it... go for it!

It is bigger than what I have now and I have some good size purses. The one I really want is on ebay and I don't have an account for it. I just want to hold 4 x 6, which that one doesn't. I can find christmas gifts but not purses.

Hey! Yes, I'm so excited! I have measured a few things so that I can plan what goes where, but in general, everything at the new house is bigger than our current house, so it'll fit and we'll have plenty of extra room- YIPPEEEE!!!!

I am home and we did have a safe trip.... I was SO happy to be home finally! I love trips, but coming home is good too---- Now, I just wish I got to come home to the new house! But I'll have to wait until the 6th to do that! At least coming home from WDW won't be SO bad since I get to go to my new home!

So duh thinking today is Tuesday so that means she'll ship it out tomorrow and I'll have it by end of the week. It's going to be a busy day tomorrow since I'm stranded at the house.

We're home from the Ranch! Had a WONDERFUL time and terrific weather. Dana rode at least twice a day - today she rode FOUR times! On the way home, a bad accident on the northbound lands of the NYS Truway caused our southbound trip of what is normally 1 hour and 15 minutes to be OVER TWO HOURS... just because of "rubber necking". grrr....

Need to get back into the swing of "school" - Dana has two finals tomorrow and THREE finals on Wednesday, her 8th grade Dinner Dance on Thursday and the 8th grade Retreat on Friday. Following week is graduation. yikes!

I'm glad you had a good time...I hate that it took you so long to get home today. Dana looks like she is having a lot of fun. I hope she does well on her finals...that's just not fair to have finals after a 3 day vacation!!

Tucker had his End of Grade testing 2 weeks ago, and got his test results last Friday... 4 in reading and math. (That is the equivalent to an A.) Now I just have to stay on him to get his writing grade up in the last 8 days. Hoping the teacher will let him do an extra credit assignment.

I am glad you had such a good time!!! It sounds like you and your family will have a busy week. My kids have to go back to school tomorrow and get out half a day Thursday. I wish they would just start school three days early in the fall. What kind of things does your little horsewoman do on her "advanced" ride/trails. Is it a lot of jumping?

I think it is mostly a bad teacher. He gets a 2 (D) on his interim reports, but a 3 (C) on his report card. I fuss every time I see the 2, because she has provided NO opportunity for me to help him. We get no writing assignments, no homework in writing, no graded work... how can I help him if I don't have anything to go by. His last interim was a 2, so I asked about him getting an extra credit assignment. She said they were doing a research assignment during class after testing each day, and she wanted to see how that went. Tucker said they still haven't worked on it. I really like his teacher... but this really frustrates me! Guess I should email her again tomorrow, before its too late!

By the way... the grades are 1 (F), 2(D) - these are both failing grades. 3(C), 3* (B), and 4(A). Tucker usually has all 3* and 4 on his report cards. He scored well on AG tests, and will have AG classes next year, and his EOG tests were 4s. If she gives him a 2, he could fail his grade, or have to go to summer school to make it up. (There goes WDW, as we only have a 4 week break before classes start back!) Needless to say... I will go balistic!

If worse comes to worse, keep in mind that you can always go above her and explain everything even this late in the year. I would try and help where I could but if the teacher is being a stubborn poo then it's not easy.

was a the inlaws all weekend , Haley had invitied 3 friends to stay the night at inlaws Sunday. the girls came over abput 12 and the four of them and son were in and out of the pool all day with me watching them. They all got some sun one of the girls was a little to red, but the next day it wasn't red at all. yesterdy had to work and then take the girls home.
We normally check out the hotel when we first get there than go get something to eat.

Mandy sorry to heard about your car problems, and glad that you found the purse that you wanted.

Kari- my two have their eog's this week, Ryan had one on friday Science and three to do this week. Haley just has the three. Don't have to worry about their grades much they both make the honor roll. Im' a little worried about Ryan taking his AIG tests, he wants to quit the AIG classes. He is being picked on and called names. We aren't going to let him quit though.

We just hung out by the pool all day and had some family over to cook out. I tried to check in here, but our internet was down all day yesterday. I can't believe we are only 3 weeks away. I am getting so excited. I haven't started packing yet, but I will next week. I am so anal about forgetting something that I have to pack early to make sure I get everything. This year I'm going to make a checklist though, because last trip I ended up forgetting a few things. Nothing major, just had a few less clothes than I thought I had packed.I kept changing my mind about what to pack, and then ended up short a few items, because I thought I had already packed it and it was just under the other stuff...WRONG! Oh well, just had to do little more laundry than I had planned. I always do a load or two mid trip because we wear 2 outfits a day each. When we come in for our afternoon pool and rest break, we clean up and put on fresh clothes for the evening because I can't stand to put sweaty stinky clothes back on after I get clean .

That's a real shame that he wants to quit because of the other kids. We pulled Tucker off the bus a few years ago for the same reason. He was in 1st grade, only 6 for a few months, and the kids were teasing him about believing in Santa. I went to the school and went nuts! He had been asking to ride carpool for over a month, but hadn't told me why. When I finally found out, it was because he came home in tears. Turned out his bus driver was picking on him, too.
