FONT=Comic Sans MS]Where are you with planning.

I want to make sure I'm keeping up.

We can't make PS's until Late Feb.

I have my room only ressie made.
Think a 5 day myw ticket with hopping will do the trick for our seven night stay.

Hard to really plan days yet w/o hours?

Have you found a way to do it?

Am I missing anything?[/FONT]

Thanks

Michele

Your dates are the exact same as ours. I have only booked room also. I was leaning toward the 5 day myw with hopping also. :flower1:

I am acutally going to be there one day earlier than you will be, but we will be there at the same time. I will beable to answer where I am staying tommorrow when the new MYW packages are out, but I am looking at the MYW 10 day hooper pass since I will be there May 27 to June 6 and plan to go to the parks atleast some each day.

So excited!! I booked POR, but I am hoping for code to upgrade to CR.

I stayed POR when it was Dixie Landing and wasn't impressed.

Don't get me wrong, it is pretty, but way too big and I think I just don't get the magic w/o the monorail.

CR is the only monorail resort i haven't stayed.

Hope you have a great trip!!!!

I must say. I did like the package we had on our last trip. If you wanted to go to a park, you could. I also discovered our resort last trip and that was nice too!!

Have a great time

I will be here this time as well. I have an AP so I already have that area covered. I will be at VWL for the first four nights and BCV for 5 nights. If any great AP come out I will checkin 2 days early. That has yet to be determined. Have had this booked since July 2004(actually started with my home resort and then traded off day by day!!!!)Talk about sweating that one out. Feb 28 is the first booking day. Here are my tips:

1. Make a list of rest. you definitely want to go to.
2. Without a schedule I know from past experience, it hard to
do but I survived. Sortof plan out the rest. first and parks 2nd.
3. Make a Fantastmic dinner reservation a must. The latest they will
right away is 4:30p.m. If they have two showings can always
rearrange.
4. I really do not have a must do on my trips. The only two things
I would like to get to is the mouseboats, and enjoy SAB.

What restaurants have you already committed too?? Here, Chef mickeys, Whispering canyon cafe, Beaches and cream, San angel inn, H&V for my Fantistmic package, and lunch at the castle just a few . . . . .

:earboy2:

1. Make a list of rest. you definitely want to go to.

Real basic here, CRT, O'hana's CM's(maybe) for sure, on our last trip for 7 nights also, we had 3 ps's an cancelled one. Not big eaters, and we like to eat when we are ready and not when we have too.

Ok, will do.

3. Make a Fantastmic dinner reservation a must. The latest they will

I was considering this since i didn't get to see it on my last trip. May swap for CM's. Have you done fantasmic package b/f?

Thanks

michele

Michele,

Yes I have done the Fantastmic package. You get a choosing of three restaurnats: Hollywood and Vine(which I have done), Brown and Derby(the most expensive of the three), and Mama melrose's.

You go to you ps time, they give you a voucher ex. john party of 3. Enjoy your dinner :DHave sime time to enjoy those last minute things and shopping. We went to the special entrance which is by the garage, and were sat. Fant was at 7:30 and we went to our entrance at 7:10. This does not cost extra. The only thing though is there is a 48 cancellation policy and if you do not show up your cc will be charged I think 10 per adult and 5 per child, it may be 15/10. Done this oct 2004. With the crowds that could be here this time of year a definite in my book!!! This is one reason why I love the AP, can go have dinner and a show!! And still get to enjoy the pool :D

We are going May 30-June 4. I have been using the "my vacation" or what ever it is called on the official Disney site to make an itinerary. I have the days planned as to which park we are going to, at least for now and then you can make a list of favorites and it they will be added to the park and you have a printable plan of what you want to do each day.

I was only going to make PS's for dinner at Epcot one night and a breakfast at Chef Mickey's, but now I think we will get the meal plan add on and do PS for evening sit down meals each night including dinner at Chef Mickey's.

We have room only at AKL with AAA discount, but I HOPE we get a better discount. We can pay for the room rate we have now, but it sounds like the room prices in the past have been almost half what we are booked at now. THe MYW package might be less expensive even. Any discount would be good.

We are also waiting for new prices because we are thinking we might get an AP for one of the kids if the room rate makes the cost of the AP worth purchasing.

This is our first trip that we are planning (DH and I spent a day at Epcot as part of a trip for his work-we also went to DD and Pleasure Island) and there is so much to think about.

We are using Small World Vacations, so they will end up doing most of the work.

The site is down right now so you might have to wait until tomorrow to set up your profile, etc.

If you would like to talk about or ask what day you can start at the 90 day window call 1 407 WDW DINE. I believe I have read that their computers are not affected by the new upgrades, so try their. I do know that May 28 90 day window is Feb 28. :D

other than our ressies we don't have anything else planned yet. I have talked to my family a bit about where we may want to eat, but that is about all. I am also waiting for the new tickets to come out to see exactly how much it will be for us. I think going with the MYW tickets will make more financial sense for us even though we do now get a great DVC AP discount. I wish we could go more than once a year... but we can't.

From my understanding some of these meals deals may not be able for dvd/ap holders. I hope that is not true. . . .

I am also with dvc and a ap holder princess:

I've gotten to the point that I don't do a lot of advance planning for our 2 week stay - it's too hard to stick to it for that long! However, when we go for 5 days at Thanksgiving, it is much more of a planned schedule. I find that you don't really need to make PSs for most restaurants for May/June far in advance, except maybe the dinner shows, or special children's activities. I usually wait until I get there and see how we feel each day. Be sure that you DO make PS for character breakfasts, though. We will be staying at VWL for first 5 nights, BCV for 8 nights, then on to Vero Beach for 3 nights (our first time there). We have APs and find that we enjoy a lot of time at the resorts now. We usually stay at the park for 3 or 4 hours and then go back to the pool. Maybe head back to a park for a couple hours at night. I'm sort of at the mercy of my children now that they are getting older (12, 8, and 7) and have there own "opinions" about what they want to do while we're on vacation!!

We are Going the last week of May. 5/22 to 6/1. I have room only booked. I think we will be getting AP's since we are going in December as well. Today I am putting together a list of the reasturants we have not been yet but would like to try and the ones we want to do again.

WE are Staying at All Atar Sports this time. My 4 boy's love sports. I have not started an iten. yet. I was wanting to try to wait for times and emh times. I will however be working on what we want to do at each park and then put it all together when the park hours come out.

Hi! May 25-June 1 here! I got one of those e-mail pins and used it for POFQ river view. I have nightmares that I'm paying $15 extra and they'll put me by the pool instead of the river even though the CM ASSURED ME they wouldn't!!

It's our second trip with the girls (will be 9 and 11) and first on-site stay. I'm mostly researching transportation right now and making my list of must-do's - especially things we missed last time due to re-hab. I think we'll go with the 5-day with hopping...really planned on 4-day, but it's only a little bit more to add the 5th so we'll maybe go on arrival day. We want to go to TL but definitely don't need 3 plusses each, so I guess we just have to get tickets at the gate for that? We're also going to Universal one day. So I can't wait for the EMH thing to get straightened out so I can plan things. And the girls want to go to Cindy's for breakfast again, so I guess I need to figure out that date to call....late February I guess.

Anyway, so much fun to actually have a planned trip coming up! Woo-Hoo!! :Pinkbounc

Bravemom3,

Look at our counters!! WOW!! 4 nights VWL and 5 nights BCV, we think a lot alike!!

We're gonna try and be brave again going 27-31...maybe longer this year :cheer2:

oops! gotta redo my count down
