That's great! My DH is asleep and I was thinking about waking him to tell him about how excited am I to get a new avatar ... but don't think he will appreciate it...so instead I get to share with all of you night owls!

OK, after a lot of thought, tears, and calculations…OK, a little thought, no tears, and some basic math, I have determined (with consultation from my beloved wife, Amanda) to award avatars to the following individuals. This is the list I compiled:
The first five that mentioned my avatar deal AFTER Kenny’s announcement (“I've heard something about the contest, but not at liberty to share at the moment!”)

OK, so here’s the deal. You seven winners need to email or PM me with an idea/suggestion of what you want on your avatar. If you want a cartoon-like likeness of yourself you will need to send me a photo, blogsite, video (such as your CMO entry, if you did one) that shows you well enough for me to toon-ize you. Whatever your idea is, keep in mind that this is for a tiny little avatar, so keep it pretty simple. And I reserve the right to modify the idea to fit my time/talent capabilities, but I’ll try my best to achieve your vision. If you have no ideas, at least let me know a favorite Disney movie, attraction, etc. and I’ll try to come up with something on my own.

My goal is to do one avatar a day, so you should have them all within a week or so. The upcoming “Top 10” announcement may delay that slightly (if I’m one of the lucky ones!), but I’ll do my best to get them all done within the next week!

Thank you for throwing me in at my 'day late and a dollar short' status.....I am TOOOOO excited!!! As I was reading the first group of names, I was so bummed. THEN!!! YAY!!!

I had a dream last night that I worked for Disney. It was so very real. I woke up got the kids ready for school and signed on here as fast as I could....and won an avatar!!!

Remembering a mere three weeks ago there was so much hope for all of us to become the CMO. Then as the day progressed, going through all of the disbelief and sadness as the calls were coming through but not for me.......and today realizing how attached I have become to this this site and to the top 20 I "know."

Andy, I really appreciate the avatar.....it truly means so much....this was an emotional roller coaster for me, I can only begin to imagine what it has been like for you!!!

Thanks again, as I am the biggest Broadway fan ever, it is clear that "Finding Nemo The Musical" in any way shape or form is my choice.

Out of curiousity, since noone answered, if YOU were part of a "selected subset" of contacted for whatever reason people (to weed out or qualify bla bla bla), would you keep that to yourself forever? Only until the top 10 are announced?

I just have to believe that SOMEONE has gotten or made some sort of contact with the sponsors by now........maybe if you did get contacted, you weren't told to keep it quiet you just don't want to let anyone else down??? I am guessing that is how I would feel. I would be reading through every post for a hint but not really wanting to know, in case I hadn't been contacted....

What are the chances, though, that the ones who just recently "came foward" did so because they know something about the top 10? I'm not sure it would make sense to identify yourself this late in the game if you didn't already know you were moving on . . . hmmm . . . I'm thinking too much!

Did you have nearly 3 weeks of voting like this year's top 10 will? It seems Disney is putting the decision in voters' hands all the way to the end once they pick the Fantasmic 10.

Well... AnnDisneyFan, you are a clever one.

I will tell anyone anything about everything the minute I can. (Including selected subsets, even though I probably wouldn't know if it was a subset, and whatever else...) That is... unless I can't, and then I won't! I'm sure that everyone in the Top 20 has had a similar experience... we know what we know... but we don't know what that means yet!

Ok... Rumsfeld is about the only way to explain this:

I know what I know.
I don't know if others know everything I know.
I don't know if others know more than I know.
I don't know what I know means.

So, my known unknowns outnumber my known knowns by a score of 3 to 1.

I am pretty sure that every contestant is in one of two boats right now:

1. They haven't heard anything definitive, but figure they'll know within 36 hours either way.
2. They have gotten some good news but can't say.

I'm in Boat #1. Boat #1 BLOWS, because for all I know, Boat #2 could have already sailed over the horizon with a passenger list of 10.

Actually, we found out who the final 100 were. The final 20 came about a month later. Unless, you're only talking about pirates...
